Quote of the Day - Marco Rubio

In my opinion, Marco Rubio won the debate and second to Rubio was Ted Cruz.. Rubio was calm, cool and collected and smart--right on point turning questions around to his advantage. He had a clear command on the issues. I like when Trump said he probably had given campaign contributions to everyone on the stage and Marco raised his hand and said, "He didn't give any to me," which demonstrated his humor as well.

Chris Wallace asked Rubio to tell Jeb Bush why gubernatorial experience wasn't necessary to be a good president--this is his answer:

This election cannot be a resume competition. It’s important to be qualified, but if this election is a resume competition, then Hillary Clinton’s going be the next president, because she’s been in office and in government longer than anybody else running here tonight.

Here’s what this election better be about: This election better be about the future, not the past. It better be about the issues our nation and the world is facing today, not simply the issues we once faced.

~ Marco Rubio
