Steven Michael Principal at Hudson Holdings, LLC
Comment Up

Now that Steven Michael has been floating around our city for over a year, purchasing the Gulfstream Hotel and promising to renovate it and now has his eyes on our beach, here is a brief introduction.

Experience
Position: Principle at Hudson Holdings, LLC, Fund Manager at Stonehenge Asset Management, LLC
Work: Hudson Holdings, LLC - 310 se 1 ST. Street, Suite 2, Delray Beach, Florida, 33483Principle since Jan 2013- Stonehenge Asset Management, LLC - Delray Beach, FLFund Manager since 2007

A hedge Fund is a limited partnership of investors that uses high risk methods, such as investing with borrowed money, in hopes of realizing large capital gains. (He says he plans on taking out a mortgage at the beach). U.S. laws require that hedge fund investors be “accredited,” which means they must earn a minimum annual income, have a net worth of more than $1 million, and possess significant investment knowledge.

Mr. Michael states that he is a licensed real estate broker. Perhaps he is but I couldn't find evidence of it.  Either he is licensed under a different name or he is licensed in another state.

His Gulfstream Hotel had a lien against it dated March 30, 2015. I have since found it is closed and he paid the administrative costs:

Securing a private loan with public property?? I hope not.

what happened to all the other fees associated with the lien such as the daily fines that have been going on for years???? Did all those just disappear? Normally people will go to the judge for fine reduction after they fix the issues but nothing has been fixed?? I think its around 10% of all the fines the city actually collects. Shady Business...

I asked about the fines that were at $200 a day. All that code told me was that they paid the administrative fine. The lien was placed on the property because they failed to show up before the magistrate.

Pretty impressive resume, exactly the type of person who should be managing big projects. Can you post the resume of some of the opponents of Hudson Holdings, like say Peter Timm or The Constitution Lady (I'm assuming she must have a law degree and PHD specializing in Constitutional Law with all her (alleged) knowledge, or maybe your buddy Katie. I would prefer to listen to the advice of an actual expert in their field, so as long as the anti-Hudson-ites are equally qualified, then I'm open to their suggestions too.

I was wondering why I had not heard from one of you bozos.
I believe that Peter Timm has a very impressive resume and he didn't start some hedge fund, buy a hotel that it let languish and go into code violations, etc.

I see that you would rather listen to a Hudson Holdings employee or someone into all sorts of stuff to sound really important. Wes had a DUI. I am sure that he is very qualified about booze. One of his strongest attributes is maligning everyone. Szerdi, another employee, got booted out of office for lies, something he accuses everyone else of doing. No misdemeanors of which anyone is yet aware.
These so called experts could be con artists. Ever think of that? Who wouldn't want our beach? You people have no idea about them. Sort of reminds me of Peter Willard. History going to repeat itself here?

just seems kinda odd that normally when I see people go to court at the city hall daily fines are instituted and the Gulf Stream has remained in the same condition. I had a property that went into a fine because I made a mistake and then code wouldn't let me just pay the admin fee I had to satisfy the entire lien to close the case it was a dumb landscaping thing but it needed to be fixed it was my fault it was messed up to begin with. Something looks fishy around here. The saying goes its not what you do its who you know. I guess it pays to rub shoulders with the corrupt officials in LW. Why cant we just have a NON CORRUPT COMMISSION AND CM???? Change the leaders and the city will improve! Its tough to take pride in our city when they keep dragging it through the dirt. A VAST majority doesn't want HH so why are they even hearing proposals from HH when they haven't even done a simple thing to the gulfstream????

Steven Michael sure has been floating around our city-like a big TURD !

Anon at 2:10, Ryan Maier has a DUI where he was involved in an accident. If you're you going to drag names into the mud Lynn publish this. Didn't think so.

Lynn Anderson said...

Send me the accident report.

The incident on Wes was published because he published it on his own blog--proud of it I guess. So, that had nothing to do with mudslinging as he did it himself. Go to him if you are really interested in mud-slinging.

Call Code Enforcement AGAIN on the Gulfstream if there are any known violations!
Now that interest rates may be going up and economy is on the verge of possible downturn, we will see how these HEDGEHUNTERS preform. No Way should the City turn property over to risky investments companies. City needs to MAN UP and manage this valuable asset!

Hudson Holdings makes Greater Bay look like serious businessmen.

lets get some things straight. Steve is not a self made man (trust fund baby) kind of like Donald Trump and many others. While we are discussing Stonehenge, have you all seen the sanctions placed on his successful Hedge Fund?

The Gulfstream Hotel project is of great importance to Lake Worth and its citizens. It will be the start of a great revitalization for the city and will have very few drawbacks.
Being a new resident and voice I am overjoyed with Hudson Holdings and ideas pertaining to this project it will open up a new world for us.

Lynn Anderson said...

Sean, I guess you are not familiar with all of the background here.
We all would be overjoyed if they built the hotel and got it opened. Not happening.
