All I can say is, "Thanks, City of Lake Worth." You allowed an abomination to happen in our neighborhood and the unsightly mess continues to get worse at 535 Wright Drive. You enacted all sorts of new codes but why then do things like this happen?
Yesterday, the white van was moved on to the cement slab but the grass where it used to be parked is now nothing but dirt. Now another truck is parked on the front lawn and I use the word "lawn" loosely. And this IS the FRONT of the house no matter what BS the city wants to feed us. The owner appears to be repairing a vehicle behind his fence and has erected a tent. He doesn't want anyone to see what he's doing. A tent might be appropriate as this is nothing but a circus.
Isn't government supposed to protect us? This entire street is going "down" and it will continue as long as situations like this are allowed to occur.

I want government to make reasonable laws that protect the citizens and then FOLLOW THEM. Would you prefer that we have some tyranny here and burn down the damn place instead?
You know what's funny? I can't think of one darn thing. This is so serious that I can only hope that you have to experience it right next door to your house. Then we will find out that this is not about politics here-- conservatives vs. progressives but just plain STUPID people.
Government may be BY the people but it is FOR the people, anony at 8:35. In this case, and there are others, this local government failed the people in this neighborhood. In some ways, it failed the entire city as we quickly look like a third world. Where is the district 1 commissioner? He can't be found and hasn't even made a statement.
Honestly, this guy needs to rent a building on South H Street and repair all of his cars and trucks THERE, and turn this back into a normal looking house.
I would imagine the district 1 commissioner is off eating hamburgers with Hudson Holdings in a state of ecstasy, imagining how it will feel to be mayor and hold the gavel. "Bam! No more annoying comments from voters, just full steam ahead with private development." "Wassamatta with these folks who don't recognize I'm always RIGHT?" Gotta problem--don't call me!"

@1:02--No, I filed a written code complaint along with photos. There has been many code complaints on this property.
Ludicrous! This is right on one of our major roads, what an eyesore and the City does nothing and claims it can't do anything.
