Re: Hudson Holdings presentation at the Lake Worth Casino

I was afraid that this is what would happen at the Hudson Holdings meeting held at the Casino ballroom. Steven Michael is smart in picking up on the fact that people want to be heard.

But that's the trick--another bait and switch: let them voice what they want, then choose which of the above they want most. HH will compile all of the data derived from the comments and naturally they are just there to please us, or so they try to tell us. They ignore that their message is clearly not working--it's not even on the map.

People fall in love with their own ideas. Notice how more to the end of the evening they were all "good little children" and all coming up with more and more "creative ideas." People remember what they hear last.

Any mention of leave our beach alone was met with "OK, sure you can speak" and promptly labeled as "negative."

And of course, as concerned citizens who love our beach-- you are now to feel invigorated and even more passionate about being a part of improving it (and the silent clause not spoken out loud: is that it, of course, will be with Hudson Holdings, Lake Worth's savior).

Who will save the day for all of us? Hudson Holdings says that you can have your cake and eat it too, as long as they are in charge. THAT'S THE DANGER. Do not trust these bozos. I place them in the same category as the Gang of 3 and City Manager Bornstein.

Expect reality from Hudson: The Beach is being addressed the same way Steven Michael is addressing the Gulfstream. That's reality.

It's a very pretty rug--just remember to be aware of the elephant underneath it. Smooth and dangerous and at any speed.

Apparently the "guest blogger" was out of the room with Lynn and Cara when 75% of the residents that were there raised their hand because they WANTED development at our beach park.

It's too bad that you didn't read this blog and what it said. Perhaps you failed reading comprehension when you were in school. Is that why you lost your home to foreclosure and now have to rent? Or was it that bankruptcy you went through last year? You didn't understand you had to pay the mortgage? Maybe you are one of the HH shills on the payroll. Wes? John?

75% WANTED development at the beach ? LOL .That's why Szerdi got his ass kicked out of town! You twenty or so who think you speak for everybody in Lake Worth-keep standing in that tight little bubble of yours stroking each other.
Meanwhile , Pam Andy and Scott are going to be kicked out of office! And by the way - none of these three use their real names.
Bornstein will not be fired after the next election . He will be made to answer for his conduct at very public quarterly evaluations. After we get done with him, he won't find a job anywhere. (Maybe Hudson Holdings will bring him with them when they leave town.)

Natural selection, those that want more development at the beach attended the meeting. A few outspoken no people also attended, but most residents in this town didn't attend (I didn't and I'm against HH's plan for further development).

Furthermore, even if I had wanted to attend I never would have once it was clear this was a data collection effort by HH, they wanted ids and the like so they can start tracking and documenting people on both sides of the issue.

You are right on, 10:1 above. Myself and NONE of my neighbors attended. We all agreed-who wants to pay money to park and then get fed a crap sandwich? Hudson Holdings needs to fix up the Gulfstream or get out of town.
