Palm Beach Post article that says it is the failed bond issue that "hovers" over the Lake Worth election. Actually, while walking with Commissioner McVoy, I don't recall this mentioned very much unless asked by a voter. This will be one of many issues that will decide this election but primarily...
It's all about trust.
And we now know from the City Clerk's letter to the Supervisor of Elections, the City is bringing it all back. The author of today's Post article, Eliot Kleinberg, was cc'd on the city clerks' letter to the city commissioners yesterday. Coincidence that this article came out today?

That screaming sound you heard yesterday? That was the howling by the powers that be in city hall when they read the Palm Beach Post's candidate endorsements yesterday. The city of Lake Worth administration took Kleinberg and the rest of the Post out to the woodshed, pulled down their pants, and spanked their asses for daring to endorse the "wrong" candidates!!!! BAD KLEINBERG, BAD !!! The Post staff are like abused wives, Lake Worth punches them in the face if they dare to get out of line, but they keep crawling back with pitiful cries of "Please sir, may I have another"? Sad.
I think they said it quite clearly. "Shake it up"
Back when Cara, Suzanne, Joann and Stanton were in charge, the post had lots to write about. People wanted to see what the commission was up to. Who did they piss off? Who are they suing? How many more layers of high paid assistants will she hire?
We were not only the laughing stock of the county but thanks to Cara, we were nationally known for electing an anarchist and throw out the welcome mat for lawlessness.
Anti cop, anti government, anti business and anti development, anti grass (lawns).
Pro open boarders, pro palestine, pro homeless, pro slums.
Imagine the horror, we are now compared to Delray Beach for being "cool".
Nah.... take me back to the good ole days.
If you look at the copy, Szerdi gets over twice the number of words than does Maier. Even Jerome gets more or so it seems. Does the city now have the Post back in their hip pocket?
That is the biggest bunch of bull crap I have ever read. The bad thing about it is--you people believe in the lies you spread. Stanton hired Steve Carr and William Waters. This administration has hired more "high-paid" executives than any other. Staff is leaving right and left. Why is that?
this article mentions art district--wheres the f---- art-and you call some of these people artist -what is lake worths definition of artist
f the art get real businesses-most businesses downtown sell s--t--this is no downtown-people look at other cities downtown you eyes don't lie-people running city do
