“This is your gun control, this finger right here – your index finger.
Nothing happens with that gun until you put that finger into the
trigger well and you pull it. So my concern is that we’re not talking
about the real issue, we’re talking about a political agenda."

That is it exactlly. Without someone pulling that trigger it isnt going to shoot. Maybe if you dropped it.
Are we armed because we are FREE, or are we Free because we are armed. I'd like to think both.

Allen Wwst having anything to say about guns is beyond absurd and beyond laughabe.
I guess if a terrorist had the gun it wouldn't be laughable...or a robber...or a murderer...or a.... At least Col. West knows how to use a gun and to aim it at all the right people. Get over your hatred, anonymous. Go post on a blog for Murphy, Frankel or some other nitwit.
OK so explain this to me. When and where does anyone except "Military" does a civilian need a 20, 50, 100 round automatic weapon (Assault Weapon!!!)
They DON'T...But yes its people who kill people and I own two guns, one pistol and one shot gun. I bullet with a good shot ( and I am ) is all it takes to put down the manic with the Automatic Assault Weapon that he or she should not have anyways....
The real stupidity here is that there are millions of these weapons in the public.
The biggest problem I have is not the weapon but the screening process. I'm a sane person, can pass the screening but what if I had a mentally challenged person in my home or my family and they had access to those weapons.
So now you "say" your supposed to be responsible. Yes people are supposed to be responsible but just like the Damn chickens...code issues, and mattress sellers they are all supposed to be responsible yet people decide NOT TO BE RESPONSIBLE and then when one of their own are arrested or coded or anything....He or She is such a nice person they would "NEVER" bread the rule or do harm blah blah blah.
For Christ Sake take all these automatic weapons off the freaking streets and before you say "Second Amendment" answer this question?
Did the people who wrote that have today's technology? No I think Not. the right to Bear Arms was not written for today's weapons.

'Legally owned' automatic assault weapons in the hands of the average American is a figment of the poster above's vivid imagination. The Firearms Act of 1934, the Gun Control Act of 1968 and the Hughes Amendment of 1986 placed tight limits on everyone's ability to possess a fully automatic firearm. Since 1934, there have been only two reported instances where a person was killed by a 'legally owned' fully automatic weapon. And one of those was a murder committed by an off duty police officer in 1988; the other being in 1992.
Limiting magazine capacity is also a pie-in-the-sky idea as any 3D copier can make a magazine of any capacity overnight.
Then there is the subject of what constitutes an assault rifle. When the Constitution was written, the musket was state of the art and considered the end all for military. During WWI the M1 carbine took center stage, followed by the M14, the M16, and then the M4. All are good, accurate weapons unless they are on fully automatic, and then they become hit-and-miss at best. And, as time goes on, there will be better and more accurate weapons developed. And denying access to these military weapons will not make one bit of difference to the general public as they are already outlawed.
This is an emotional subject and those like the poster above should engage their brains prior to permitting their emotions to get the best of them. Better to take a long hard look at why crime increased when we began releasing the mentally ill back into the public than to attempt to legislate feel good measures. And becoming a police state is certainly not the answer.
Quote of the day.
"This is Allen West and conservative gun lover's control". See this middle finge right here?
