Six million of my Jewish brothers and sisters were loaded up in railroad cars and slaughtered by the Nazis. Please, don't offend their memory or me by comparing it to whatever difficulties Christians may feel they're having today. Your politicians are still elected. You still can freely worship in the open. You still remind us virtually every day that this country is a Christian Nation.

That's fine.

But it's not the Holocaust.

I don't know you get this but stop it. Please. You're embarrassing yourself.

Are you talking to ME, anonymous or are you talking to Jonathan who is a Jew? The video is there to consider. People get so easily offended today. Well, I am offended about what's happening to Freedom of Religion today as well as freedom of speech.
It's all right to bring up something that happened 70 years ago--we should NEVER forget about that and all the horrible atrocities. Atrocities are occurring all over now against Christians, be-headings and all.
So, who's embarrassing whom?

Holocausts happen, one little atrocity at a time, until there are thousands of them and another war has to be fought to right all the wrongs.

Actually, Lynn, the title of your post is what offends me.

Let's go over this again: Christians are not being shipped off to concentration camps by the millions and gassed in an act of genocide. You may think it's going to happen and you're totally entitled to believe that, but it's not "underway" as you state. It just isn't.

ISIS is a threat. But that doesn't mean that we can just make stuff up and throw it out there to scare everyone.

And anonymous at 12:56 pm, if you want to call me, a Jewish daughter of a Holocaust survivor, an "evil barbarian" and infer that I'm a terrorist simply because I reject that Christians are undergoing a Holocaust, then so be it. It may be one of the more hateful things I've been called in my life and I'm kind of surprised that Lynn allows it to stand on her blog given her policies she posts in the right sidebar, but I only feel sorry for you and your hate.

Did you even listen to the video?
Stop making mountains. You totally want to "miss" the intent of this man's speech.
Sorry you are so offended. As I said, people get offended about everything these days and love to call people haters and racists or whatever fits their narrative. What about getting offended about what's going on in the world right this minute? That's just not too horrible for your sensbilities?

With all dues respect, I'll say it again. I'm offended by the title of your post. Millions of Christians are not being gassed and killed like in the Holocaust. It's an unfair and offensive comparison that minimizes what Jews went through and experienced.

"That's just not too horrible for your sensbilities?"

Why mock me, ma'am? I disagree with you. That's all. Does that make me such a horrible person?

I wish you peace in this world and hope that you find solace in the spiritual words that you post, but apparently have a hard time following.

So much Christian history in the Middle East. Why aren't people trying to protect this Holy Land where Jesus and his disciples walked and created miracles. As an American I was raised to respect all religions and think that just like Israel and Palestine there should be a Christian State in the Middle East. In 1922 the Christian population in Jerusalem was 53% today it's 2%(probably less). Bethlehem population was over 80%. Christian persecution has been happening way before WW1 and escalated in 1948 due to mass displacement. Murders, beatings and Land Grabs have been occurring for some time. It's up to the western world to bring awareness to this situation or else Christianity will disappear from its Biblical heartlands.
