Vandals targeted Florida’s Seminole County Republican Party office over the weekend with a disturbing message written on the glass of the building, days after Democrat gubernatorial hopeful Rep. Charlie Crist (D-FL) claimed that supporters of Gov. Ron DeSantis (R) have “hate” in their heart.

The graffitied message read, “eat shit fascists,” with a circled “A” underneath the message — a symbol for anarchy. Further, the vandals reportedly glued the doors of the establishment shut.

“We basically had to break into our own office,” State Committeeman Jesse Phillips said, according to the Hill.

Donald Trump’s social media platform Truth Social has been barred from the Google Play store over alleged “content moderation” issues.

Truth Social CEO Devin Nunes said the Android version of the app is ready and waiting on approval from the Play Store.

“However, a Google spokesperson said in a statement that the platform lacks the “effective” content moderation needed to meet the Google Play app store’s terms of service,” The Hill reported.

“On August 19 we notified Truth Social of several violations of standard policies in their current app submission and reiterated that having effective systems for moderating user-generated content is a condition of our terms of service for any app to go live on Google Play,” the spokesperson said..

This is the social media platform that allows free speech and if anything is questionable, a sensitive banner will appear.

A family trust run by Kenneth Siebel made a $5,000 to the Friends of Ron DeSantis PAC, records show

Democratic California Gov. Gavin Newsom has been a vocal critic of Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis, in recent weeks, but Newsom's in-laws seem to approve of the popular Republican.

According to contribution records on the Friends of Ron DeSantis PAC website, the Siebel Family Revocable Trust made a $5,000 contribution on April 6, 2022.

That trust is run by Kenneth F. Siebel Jr. and Judith A. Siebel, the parents of Newsom's wife, Jennifer Siebel, records obtained by Fox News Digital show.

Last week, Newsom pledged $100,000 to the campaign of DeSantis' Democratic opponent, Rep. Charlie Crist, who previously served as Florida's governor.

Palm Beach County approves Ordinance on rent increases

New rules: Palm Beach County tries to get a grip on astronomical rent increases from landlords

Landlords throughout Palm Beach County will soon have to provide tenants with 60 days’ notice if they intend to raise rents more than 5% or terminate a lease.

County commissioners Tuesday unanimously approved an ordinance that calls for a 60-day notice. County Mayor Robert Weinroth said he expects the new rules to be in place by mid-September. State law currently requires notice of just 15 days.

"This is a good first step to help tenants facing increases of more than 20%," said Takisha Miles, supervising attorney for the Palm Beach County Legal Aid Society's elder law and fair housing project.

First-time violators could be fined $1,000 per day per violation; $5,000 per day for a repeat violation, and up to $15,000 per violation if the violation is found to be irreparable or irreversible in nature.

“This ordinance is anticipated to have a beneficial impact for residents and will help renters navigate the highly competitive rental market by providing more time to adjust to higher rents or seek alternative housing,” according to a staff memo prepared for county commissioners.

Lake Worth already declared a State of Emergency and want rent controls. Rental rates are out-of-control.

A federal appeals court on Friday struck down a Biden administration statute that forced doctors to perform medical procedures, including gender-transition procedures, against their religious beliefs.

The U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit unanimously upheld a lower court’s ruling in Franciscan Alliance v. Becerra which protected around 19,000 health care professionals in Franciscan Alliance, a Catholic health care network, from performing medical procedures against their conscience.

“This ruling is a major victory for conscience rights and compassionate medical care in America,” said Joseph Davis, counsel at Becket, in a statement. “Doctors cannot do their jobs and comply with the Hippocratic Oath if the government requires them to perform harmful, irreversible procedures against their conscience and medical expertise.”

SUMMARY:
The proposed Ordinance will repeal sections 15-91 “Prohibited acts regarding panhandling” (including Section 15-90 “Definitions”) and 19-14 “Right-of-way solicitors and canvassers.”

BACKGROUND AND JUSTIFICATION: THERE IS NO JUSTIFICATION
Section 15-91 of the City’s Code of Ordinances (the “Code”) makes it unlawful to solicit money or other things of value in certain public areas, including bus stops, public transportation facilities and vehicles, areas within 15 feet of a sidewalk café, automatic teller machines, and the entrance or exit of a commercial or governmental building, parking lots, parking garages, and parking pay stations owned or operated by the City and private property, unless the person panhandling has permission from the owner of such property. Section 19-14 of the Code makes it unlawful for any person to canvass or solicit in the right-of-way at certain designated intersections within the City.

The Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office ceased enforcing sections 15-91 and 19-14 on January 14, 2022, and given the decision to cease enforcement, the City believes it is prudent to repeal sections 15-90, 15-91, and 19-14 of the Code.

We pay the Sheriff tons of money. We can't tell them to enforce our ordinance? Instead we will eliminate the ordinance because they won't enforce it and allow panhandlers to over-run our city? Brilliant. We might have to change our name to Manhattan South Florida.

"That's the final margin by which Dan Franzese beat out Deborah Adeimy in the Republican primary race for the 22nd Congressional District seat, which covers a majority of southern Palm Beach County.

A machine recount of the votes began at 1 p.m. Friday and concluded just before 2 a.m. Saturday. Original vote tallies showed just 132 votes separated the candidates.

Franzese earned 11,972 votes, or 34.6% of the vote, while Adeimy won 11,842, or 34.2% of the vote.

Franzese will now take on incumbent U.S. Rep. Lois Frankel, D-West Palm Beach, on Nov. 8 — a seat Republicans want to try to flip.

“This has been a long, hard-fought campaign," Franzese wrote in a statement sent to The Palm Beach Post. "I want to thank the people of District 22 for believing in me. I have listened to them and they have been heard at the ballot box."

Adeimy posted to her campaign Facebook page Saturday morning acknowledging the results:

"Lois Frankel is relieved she is not running against me, who would have finally ended her term," she wrote. "Happy I met more amazing people here, where my family has been for a century. I am devastated I sacrificed so much for my hometown and America."

On Friday, the stunning news broke that the FBI had gone to Facebook in October of 2020 to “warn” the social media giant that the Hunter Biden laptop story was Russian disinformation. That revelation came via Mark Zuckerberg himself on Joe Rogan’s podcast.

The FBI’s actions helped pushed a regime of censorship just prior to the election that very well could have altered the results given the small margin in three states that decided things. It was election interference on a stunning scale, carried out in a way that can only be explained by political weaponization.

Of course, the FBI thinks that the American people are idiots, so they’ve offered a lump of weasel words in response knowing a willing press will run the headlines they want.

Biden Illegally Forgives Student Loan Debt Blatantly Buying Votes

Though this is being pitched by the administration as a financial break for lower-income Americans, the actual numbers show that it will instead disproportionately benefit those who are in higher tax brackets.

According to an analysis of Biden’s plan from the University of Pennsylvania out Tuesday, such a wide-ranging bailout will come with a price tag of $300-$980 billion for American taxpayers.

The university also calculated that “Between 69 and 73 percent of the debt forgiven accrues to households in the top 60 percent of the income distribution.”

Even the liberal Brookings Institution came to the same conclusion.

In January 2021, the principal deputy general counsel for the Department of Education, Reed Rubenstein, clearly stated the president has no power to unilaterally “forgive” student loans.

SUMMARY:

Discussion of proposed economic development incentive agreement and beach concession access agreement to facilitate the Gulfstream Hotel Project moving forward

BACKGROUND AND JUSTIFICATION:
At its meeting of June 21, 2022, the City Commission approved on second reading a mixed use urban planned development for the Gulfstream Hotel. As part of the redevelopment package, the applicant, Restoration St Louis, requested a series of incentives related to financial assistance and beach concession amenity access. Provided in this item are two proposed agreements that address these two issues.

First, a proposed economic development incentive agreement includes four (4) parts that involve the waiving of entitlement application fees; a water utility incentive to relocate water and sewer lines; the allowance of Florida Green Building Certification and public art to meet the second half of the Sustainable Bonus Incentive Program requirement; and finally an economic development incentive coming from the electric, water/sewer and stormwater utilities. At present, the entitlement fees to be waived total $12,825. The value of the Sustainable Bonus Program incentive is approximately $646,875. And finally, the economic development incentive from the utility enterprise funds would be no more than $139,125, payable after three full years of project operations and confirmation of estimated project performance and utility usage.

Second, a proposed beach concession access agreement for the Gulfstream Hotel to utilize the amenities of the City’s approved beach concession for access to beach concessions such as chairs and umbrellas in the same manner as the general public. The only caveat particular to the hotel and not the general public is that the costs for the use of the amenities by hotel guests would be billed directly to the hotel.

A New Jersey elementary school has changed its name following a reported student-led campaign to scrap Thomas Jefferson due to his affiliation with slavery.

Per Fox News, Thomas Jefferson Elementary in South Orange will now be known as Delia Bolden Elementary. That name was picked from a list of options that included other historical figures and some options that didn’t reference people at all.

The publication noted that Delia Owens was the first black woman to graduate high school in the area.

Slavery was a different time, a different age, a different culture. What this school should be teaching are all Thomas Jefferson's notable acts such as the Declaration of Independence and elected as the third president of the United States of America. In 1807, American foreign trade was diminished when Jefferson implemented the Embargo Act in response to British threats to U.S. shipping. The same year, Jefferson signed the Act Prohibiting Importation of Slaves.

A friend of mine sent this article as it relates to where we grew up as kids. Those attending my high school were from Maplewood and South Orange, New jersey. This school is in South Orange. In those days, New Jersey was rated the top educational system in the country. Now it is a Blue state and obviously things have radically changed.

Atlanta Extremists are Arming the Homeless

Federal prosecutors are investigating an Atlanta-based Black extremist group preaching violence against the U.S. government as part of a wide-ranging criminal probe, according to a report.

The Black Hammer Party, allegedly involved in arming and recruiting homeless men, is under joint investigation by the FBI and the Fayetteville, Georgia Police Department for a slew of potential charges ranging from weapons and narcotics offenses, kidnapping and human trafficking, The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reported.

According to a recent federal indictment unsealed in Tampa, Florida, Romain and the Black Hammer Party were involved in an alleged scheme with a Russian citizen with ties to the Kremlin aiming to sow discord in the U.S. by paying fringe groups to protest and infiltrate local political movements.

In addition to the Atlanta-based Black Hammer Party, the indictment named other groups in Florida and California.
