Rep. David Silvers and HB 557

Last night, Rep. Dave Silvers spoke in front of the commission. He mentioned two bills that he has co-authored. This one has to do with medial marijuana dispensaries, a subject near and dear to our hearts as we have two in Lake Worth that will soon be opening..

CS/CS/HB 557: Controlled Substance Prescribing GENERAL BILL by Health and Human Services Committee ; Health Quality Subcommittee ; Duran ; Silvers ; (CO-INTRODUCERS) Donalds ; Edwards ; Jacobs ; Jenne ; Jones ; Mercado ; Nunez ; Willhite

Controlled Substance Prescribing; Revising requirements for reporting the dispensing of controlled substances; limiting an exception to reporting requirements for certain facilities that dispense controlled substances; authorizing certain employees of the United States Department of Veterans Affairs access to certain information in the prescription drug monitoring program database, etc.

They can place all the regulations and still there will be robo signed scrips for everything from "anxiety" to acne. There will also be more break in robberies than ever to make these dealers rich. Then will come a housing bubble like we've never seen before, more air bnbs, transients, and poor living conditions for working citizens. This is a disaster.

Suddenly a stagnant town is under construction, banks and commercial space, it has something to do with lots owned by our commission and their friends and everything to do with Amaroso saying we "had" to allow dispensing for addicts.
