No matter your Party affiliation, this is a topic that should interest everyone. The Democratic Club will have a speaker representing the unions. Unions are always backed by the Democrats. Dems would never bite the hand that feeds them. It would be really interesting to hear a rebuttal and how union contracts are bankrupting municipalities across the country.
"The Lake Worth Democratic Club is meeting this Saturday October 31st at Noon.
Common Grounds Coffee Bar, 12 S. J Street.
Our speaker will be Sam Neimeiser, a union representative, to explain to us the ins and outs of pensions and union negotiations. We hear a lot about it and if you are like me, you grasp a bit here and there. After this meeting I hope we can advance to getting a general grasp on the complexities of what takes place between our city and its unions.
Sam Goodstein
President
Lake Worth Democratic Club"

Keep your eyes out for Wess.
So what did the union guy have to say? City hasn't said much, but they just lost their finance guy and put three electric administrators on leave. What's up with that?
@4:33...can you e-mail me with details. Which Finance guy? Which utility admins? lynn113@comcast.net
I didn't attend as I could not get a reply from the Club president as to whether or not non members could attend.
