Imam Abu Taubah - The Muslim Norm?

Comment Up

It's impossible for some of us in the United States to believe Muslims think differently than we. It's a different culture but the politically correct don't get that. They want to believe that the biggest mass murderer in history was just some deranged guy who hated Gays who just happened to be Muslim. They choose to believe that these are the few, the exception. If we say differently, then we are the haters, the racists. Imams teach other Muslims and give guidance probably much like Reverend Wright did for 20 years when Barack Obama attended his church.

"Speaking Tuesday with Fox News host Greta Van Susteren about the deadly Orlando terrorist attack, which he condemned, Taubah suggested the fact that radical Islamists behead American reporters, like James Foley, is not the U.S.’s business."

“I believe some journalists need to be beheaded,” he said, “but I wouldn’t have done that.”

How would you feel if an anti-Christian wrote a blog post titled:

Westboro Baptist Church: The Christian Norm?

What would you think of the author of the blog post? What kind of credibility would they have?

Questions....

The only question here is why do you want to defend a creep? Christians don't go around saying people should be beheaded. Christians don't go around saying "God Damn America."

You have zero credibility as you are anonymous. You ARE anti-Christian IMO but if you're not, then just a silly little person with personal issues.

Anon at 8:20 is a "Christophobe" just like Obama.

Stamp out Christophobia. Christians have rights also.

Lynn, can you explain what is exactly 'Christian' about the Westboro Baptist Church's practice of protesting the funerals and memorials for the Orlando Terrorist Attack Victims?

Their hate reaches back to the 1990s when they famously picketed outside the funeral for Matthew Shepard a gay man murdered in Wyoming and left to die on a fence post. These are the same people that picket funerals for soldiers killed in Iraq and Afghanistan. They shows up yesterday, Ignorant, hateful, rude, and claiming to be 'Christians' all the while screaming and holding signs claiming God hates homosexuals and blaming the massacre on America's acceptance of gay lifestyles.

This is unacceptable. We see the community has come together after receiving information from the FBI and the Department of Homeland Security about their plans. We are under attack and we will make every effort to protect ourselves from further hate violence.

Rest assured we will continue to meet the ugly small mindedness and narrow views with more counter protesters and motorcycle escorts, we will ensure that the coming days are peaceful, honorable and respectful to the friends and family of the victims during their memorials and funerals this week.

So Lynn, please answer my question… What is so Christian about the Westboro Baptist Church and their continued awful behavior?

The Westboro Babtist Church is NOT affiliated with the Baptist church. It has been denounced by all Christian churches. It is a hate group and all on its own. Because some idiots want to call themselves a "church" doesn't make it so and doesn't make them a Christian group--far from it.
