Just finished watching it. Not much enthusiasm there. Were there any residents in the room? Some of them did very well and I liked most of their presence.
In the forum they touch on education. Our schools are crap here for one reason only--too many of these children come from families where English is not spoken. Kids get no help at home from their parents. English is their 2nd language in schools. I don't care how much money is poured into our schools by PB county, these kids need to learn to read, write and speak English. So, yes, families wanting to move into Lake Worth get derailed as they do not want to put their children into poor schools and instead buy elsewhere. Lake Worth didn't help the situation when they made Lake Worth a "welcoming city."
I don't see that changing Lynn. Out west they have the better schools and school buildings. As far as the children themselves, there should be a task force, among the people who favor wholesale immigration that prepares these families to live in a totally strange environment. They could teach the children proper language skills in a very short time, and the children could teach their families.
The school and the library cannot be expected to make up for this lack of planning on the part of the government. They do what they can.
Young families are not going to move back to Lake Worth. Those days are gone.
