The Wet foot, Dry Foot policy ended with Bill Clinton that said any Cuban caught on the waters between the two nations (with "wet feet") would summarily be returned to Cuba or sent to a third country, while one who made it to shore ("dry feet") got a chance to remain in the United States. It doesn't matter whether this or any illegal manages to get on our land...they needs to be sent back to wherever.
Some of our best Citizens, and probably more than half of Miami's government officials are either first or second generation Cuban. The Cuban people are probably our first line of defense against a Socialist Government being ushered in.
Yes, and now it is time everyone comes here legally rather than on Mariel boats, etc. This is 2021, not 1980. We adjusted our laws for them because of their escaping from communist Cuba. You can ask the Cuban Americans in Miami what they feel about illegals today.
Forget Citizenship! I think anybody who got here from Cuba on a raft, or a little boat, should get an Olympic Gold Medal!

Obama pulled a fast one on the Cuban people right before he left office. We
Obama ended wet foot, dry foot--started relations with Communist Cuba. Opened the embassy here and there. Started travel, Wanted to close Guantanamo and open trade.
Obama loved communists, not only in our hemisphere but around the world. This gave the welcome for illegals coming from the southern hemisphere to cross our borders and they would be welcomed. So today, because of his policy, we have probably over 20 to 40 million illegals residing in our country.
Communist regimes are not our friends and shouldn't be treated as such.
Biden, Obummer #3, is doing the same thing as far as our foreign policy. It will be disastrous for America.
