When you consider the wounded and the American lives lost in Iraq, it is disgusting that Al Qaeda has now taken over Fallujah and Ramadi. Obama is sending Hellfire missiles and drones to Iraq to help government forces he says. Al Qaeda is gaining
territory in both western Iraq and neighboring Syria. According to Obama and John Kerry, "No more boots on the ground." What in the hell was it all about? We have nothing to show for it..no weapons of mass destruction and hundreds of billions of our treasury. As it turns out with bad intel, President Bush never should have taken us into Iraq and in 2011, President Obama never should have taken us out. Now look what's happened?
See Anti-war.com for casualty stats.
“When President Obama withdrew all U.S. forces from Iraq in 2011, over
the objections of our military leaders and commanders on the ground,
many of us predicted that the vacuum would be filled by America’s
enemies and would emerge as a threat to U.S. national-security
interests. The thousands of brave
Americans who fought, shed their blood, and lost their friends to bring
peace to Fallujah and Iraq are now left to wonder whether these
sacrifices were in vain.”

Department of Defense's direct spending on Iraq totaled at least $757.8 billion, but if you include the interest paid on the funds borrowed to finance the wars and a potential nearly $1 trillion in extra spending to care for veterans returning from combat through 2050 it tops US$6 trillion.
