Fired coach fights for Right to Pray on field

Sports Illustrated: Court win for praying coach would erode democracy

Of course, liberals, are now saying or implying that love of God, love of country or being a "nationalist" is a hate crime. You can't pray...separation of church and state they aclaim!

"Freedom OF religion is very different than freedom FROM religion. Lefties are saying it is against our constitution but that interpretation of the Constitution hinges on Thomas Jefferson's use of the language "separation of church and state" in a letter. The words, however, appear nowhere in the Constitution.

The Founders explained in the Federalist papers that the intent of the First Amendment is to protect religious worship from government interference, and it simply states that "Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof from establishing a law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof."

Former NFL placekicker Jay Feely said "Freedom OF religion is very different than freedom FROM religion."

Already turned down by the Supreme court, Kennedy appealed again and his case will be heard this month, possible today. Read more...

The liberal left is working so hard to try to erase God from existence they forget that we have a maker that we have to answer to God someday! We are human beings with souls given to us by God! We need to pray we need to give thanks to him every single day I applaud this coat for wanting to pray in any other that will do so our teachers as well nurses doctors as well we need more prayer in our lives we need God in our lives God is our rock and our refuge! We cannot survive as a country or world of people without God! Seek God that's what he wants us to do! There are so many slaves of Satan today it really fallen for all of this if they would only turn to God be like Saul and change to Paul That's what we all need to do in this world!

Reading some of the Federalist Papers, and the anti-Federalist Papers, I wonder if you might actually be more of an anti-Federalist that a Federalist.

You should check that out!

It's just like the other coach Jack del Rio that might lose his job and has to pay $100,000 in fines all for just stating his opinion about what he thinks about the election and January 6th and all that's happened in the United States right now! So many of us question everything and why aren't we allowed to have our opinion and if we state it in public they cancel you and they come at you and you're canceled! Why isn't our Free speech protected why aren't we able to say how we feel and state our opinions anymore without being canceled especially if you're someone in the spotlight or this is what this cancel culture and social media do nowadays I think technology is the root of all evil like money it's really hurting a lot of people right now and just cancel culture just has to stop let people have their opinions everyone has a right to an opinion!

I never really cared whether I was cancelled or not. I have been in situations where I could have had much better positions at work, and that was then, not now.

I think it better to go by the words of Shakespeare: "This above all, to thine own self be true"

Of course, if I had a family that was depending on me for support, I might temper my opinions a bit.
