'Little Free Libraries' distributes 500K books in Lake Worth Beach
After getting the city manager on board, permitting was approved, and there are now more than 100 Little Free Libraries throughout Lake Worth Beach. Have you ever seen her porch at her house?...stacked with boxes of books.And did you know that our own city commissioner, Scott Maxwell, made many of them!

Commissioner Maxwell has contacted some of us to donate unwanted, or unused books also. I think they do more than most people know.
Mary does a fantastic job with this project and is to be congratulated.
There is no shortage of used books. At the Library, they actually throw books away.
Any Condo or HOA with a Clubhouse has more books than they know what to do with. I'm sure they would be happy to donate a few hundred.
