NAACP Files Lawsuit Against President Trump and GOP
They say Trump and the GOP is targeting black neighborhoods.Well, they can say anything that they want. People love to sue today. What about the civil rights for freedom of speech and standing up for democracy with fair and honest elections? Instead, amend your suit and file it against Hillary, the DNC and Democrats for filing lawsuits against President Trump and denigrating him over four years as not our "legitimate" president.
“Defendants’ efforts to disenfranchise hundreds of thousands of voters — targeting cities with large Black populations, including Detroit, Michigan, Milwaukee, Wisconsin, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and Atlanta, Georgia — repeat the worst abuses in our nation’s history, where Black Americans were denied a voice in American democracy for most of the first two centuries of the Republic,” the new lawsuit reads.
Founded in 1865, the Ku Klux Klan (KKK) by the Democrats, extended into almost every southern state by 1870 and became a vehicle for white southern resistance to the Republican Party’s Reconstruction-era policies aimed at establishing political and economic equality for blacks. Its members waged an underground campaign of intimidation and violence directed at white and black Republican leaders.
