Patriot,

Just as our Special Forces operators were engaged in a fight to take down the leader of an international terrorist group, a member of the United States House of Representatives stood on American soil, enthusiastically addressing and promoting a group that has been designated by the UAE as a “terrorist organization”.

The following day, two hours after President Trump announced the death of the leader of ISIS, this same member of Congress posted a picture on Instagram proudly wearing a shirt, blazoned with the logo of the same group that is linked to terrorism.

In that picture, this member of Congress is standing and smiling next to, Hassan Shibly, who has sued the Trump administration to defend a woman who joined ISIS and married TWO ISIS terrorists. This “ISIS Bride” also made the statement that she wanted to kill innocent Americans in the name of ISIS.

But it didn’t stop there.

After another few hours, this Congressperson, in an attempt to shift the narrative away from Islamic terrorism, which she enables, posted this on Twitter:
“We must confront the hateful ideology of white nationalism and treat it like the national security threat that it is.”

Want to take a guess who this elected member of Congress is?

You guessed it, Democrat Rep. Ilhan Omar.

If that’s not an attempt to send a message of support to our enemies, I don’t know what is.

This is why I am fighting to become a member of Congress. Your support is vital to make that happen.

I want to be able to stand on the floor of the House Chamber, live on CSPAN, and initiate a vote to EXPEL Ilhan Omar from Congress.

Our Constitution binds our elected officials to their oath of office.

Ilhan Omar, with her hand on the Quran, swore, “I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic . . .”

She has done the opposite, and should be the sixth person in the history of our Republic to be expelled from Congress.

Will you help me make that happen?

If given the privilege to serve in Washington, I will expose Ilhan Omar and any other member of Congress who betrays their oath of office.

Following the guidelines of our Constitution, I will work to have trojan-horse enemies within, expelled from office.

There has been a lot of chatter about “impeaching” members of Congress, but the Constitution makes it clear that members of the House or Senate can be expelled from office with a two-thirds vote. Only five members of Congress have ever been expelled from office. Ilhan Omar has betrayed her oath of office by openly supporting multiple terrorist organizations and terror-tied groups. Let’s make her the sixth Congressional expulsion in the history of our nation.

House meets at 9:00am this morning to go ahead with impeachment.  John Bolton says no chance of him testifying without House issuing a subpoena.

We are not hearing the full story from the Judge, Jury and Prosecutor, Adam Schiff. In fact, he would not even allow Republican committee members to ask questions of witnesses. "No chance in hell of this passing in the Senate," said Senator Perdue of Georgia.

So, basically this is just to tarnish the president, waste taxpayer money with an impeachment procedure that will not pass in the end and the Republican Party will be stronger than ever before.

Trey Gowdy to represent Trump?

Democrats are racing against time to wrap up their impeachment inquiry before the calendar turns to 2020 and the Presidential race takes over. Trey has to wait until the first of the year to represent the President because of lobbyist rules.

In the meantime, there is the IG investigation that should come out soon. Inspector General Michael Horowitz wrote to congressional leaders with an update on his investigation into alleged abuses of warrants obtained under the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act (FISA). Horowitz said he expects the report "will be released publicly with few redactions." [CBS News]

Once this Report is out, it very possibly could derail the Democrats Impeachment.

Lake Worth tallied a total of $2.7 million! Wonder where the disaster was due to Dorian.

During Frances, Jeanne and Wilma Lake Worth had millions in claims that could not be verified by the city. FEMA wanted proof for the $26 million and we got involved in a mess trying to prove our claims. The utility department, the biggest culprit, had lost invoices and documents and the city commission didn't feel we should be responsible to pay it all back due to those document losses from so many years ago. Millions are still owed back to FEMA from their original request.

But while Republicans had similar concerns about withdrawing from Iraq in 2011, Pelosi praised Obama “for a promise made and a promise kept, honoring the U.S.-Iraq Security Agreement and the wishes of the American people to bring all our troops home by the end this year.”

As President Trump said,  “I am the only person who can fight for the safety of our troops & bring them home from the ridiculous & costly Endless Wars, and be scorned. Democrats always liked that position, until I took it.”

There are always commissioners and/or administrations that want to change the "flavor" of our city, a term that former Commissioner Christopher McVoy used to say.

Commissioner Omari Hardy, who has announced that he will be running for the Florida State Legislature and therefore not seeking reelection in Lake Worth says, “If we’re going to be a 7-mile city, we need to get the most out of it.” In other words, he wants to grow the city through development and building higher. He went to school in Miami and lived in Ft. Lauderdale. He likes heights and believes that is the solution to Lake Worth's financial stability.

But to reiterate once again, our referendum meant something to all of us voters when we passed it on a 56% vote only 6 years ago--keep the downtown at 45 feet. Two stabbed at John Prince Park

On my way up 6th Avenue around Noon, there were at least 20 PBSO vehicles along the side of the road with lights flashing...apparently two people were stabbed.

LAKE WORTH, Fla. (CBS12) — Detectives are investigating a stabbing in John Prince Park that sent two people to the hospital. The Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office said deputies responded to a report of a stabbing at the park shortly after 11 a.m.. The first deputies on scene found two injured individuals. Both patients went to the hospital, at least one in Trauma Hawk. The sheriff's office said the two victims are known to law enforcement. Detectives with the Violent Crimes Division will pick up the investigation.

First of all, on Sunday, a segment on the network’s “World News Tonight” program showed footage of a years-old military weapons demonstration in Kentucky, but described it as footage from a Turkish attack on Kurds in Syria. [Western Journal]

And now ABC totally misquoted the President while he was with the Italian President Sergio Mattarella making President Trump look callus. It just seems to me that these gaffs are not honest mistakes. We know the footage shown in Kentucky described as being in Syria was definitely dishonest.

Loomer accomplished this while being banned on every social media platform. All of her opponents, both Republican and Democrat had access to social media while fundraising for their campaigns. Clearly Loomer’s FEC report proves that she is a viable candidate, and her social media bans must be lifted immediately.

Last Night's City Commission Meeting Part II

Eventually we got to New Business on how to proceed with creating ordinances to place on the March ballot.

• FAILED 4/1 Charter Revision regarding Heights. Hardy dissented...was not interested in the two Charter Amendments, only in what developers want even saying one of our referendums probably took place before he was born, which it wasn't unless he was born in 2005 and that was the one that saved Old Bridge Park. He believes it is "leadership" to go against the will of the voters. The point is that commissions always want to dismiss referendums by the people once they are in office to get their own agenda passed. Their constituents only matter when they need their vote. In spite of the law in 2013 that caused our referendum to be moot and was retroactive to the winning referendum on heights, the Commission still could have honored the vote--they did not.

• PASSED 5/0 Charter amendment regarding Lease Terms to 30 years for all city owned property in Lake Worth.  Don't know why this is some advantage to lessees as the Charter Amendment mentioned above now provides 20 years. Renewals can be written into the Terms. And speaking of Old Bridge Park, that Charter amendment was done by the citizens because the city wanted to sell off our public land to a developer to build a high rise condo.

• FAILED 5/0:  Placing the sale of 36 acres in north end on the ballot. Omari Hardy said he was against this as he had listened to his constituents but the past charter amendments by the people that have passed were of no interest to him. He listens to some but not those citizens who won referendums.

• FAILED 3/2 Having a straw ballot on the Pool at the beach. Hardy made a motion to Disapprove (This means that the residents won't be able to vote on what this city does at our pool). The vote was 3/2 to disapprove. And all along Commissioner Hardy believes he cares what the residents want.

• PASSED 5/0 Charter amendment to give the County a 99 year lease for Jewel Cove. The County will not be able to develop, only maintain.

Last Night's City Commission Meeting Part I

School Board member, Erica Whitfield, gave a presentation regarding Lake Worth Schools. School grades are going up in some schools and she says they have had quite a bit of success. English reading scores, however, went down across the district. Most kids in Lake Worth qualify for free or reduced lunch and 62% in Palm Beach County. They all get free breakfast. Commissioner Maxwell said that he wants to make sure that these children are taken care of. Herman brought up discrimination and said that "meanness is there" whatever that means. He wants to eliminate the payment by students for lunches altogether. You can see how the demographics have changed, not only in our city, but the county as a whole and socialism has crept in.

Next up was former city commissioner, Retha Lowe, presenting her Jazzy Seniors. The ladies were there in their jazzy shirts to let us know all that they do for that $30 a year cost to join to keep the seniors active and social.  They have been fundraising for a trip to Memphis, Tennessee, National Senior Expo. Retha "put the touch" on the Lake Worth commissioners to pick up the tab for the transportation to Memphis that will cost $8,000, funds to come from their discretionary fund. Retha said that she "would appreciate it." I guess she would. None of them declined and that's not surprising. What was surprising was Retha asking for the money.

Greg Richter of South Palm Park Neighborhood Association mentioned the continued prostitution and criminal activity in his area. He wants the city to figure out how to make South Federal highway a more economical viable and safe area. I want to remind all you Elizabeth Warren supporters that she wants to legalize prostitution.

Todd Townsend spoke and wants us to spend millions at our pool by using our penny sales tax. He told the crowd that he believes Commissioner Maxwell should "step down." As you know, Maxwell is against spending one dime at our beach.

Public Hearing on the City's Procurement Code was next and Omari Hardy was the lone dissenter for increasing the city manager's authority to spend $50,000 without commission approval, up by $25,000. He also believes we should not require a bidder to put up a 5% protest bond. And he's right on both counts. The city is freezing anyone's right to protest by charging them exorbitant amounts of money. I believe there was a mistake in thinking that this has not been raised since 1999. Since Bornstein was employed in 2012, this is the 2nd time it has been raised--it was $15k, then went to $25,000 and now to $50k.

This was all touched off by a whistleblower (who we now know is a CIA agent who was slated to work in the white House--in other words, a spy ).

With five issues up for discussion to possibly place on the ballot, this one really galls me--Benny's.

Charter Revision regarding Lease Term - Benny's, Beach Park, City at Large.

It is disappointing that there is no backup on the five issues they will discuss tonight. You would think there would be considering the importance of all five.  Agenda

Omari Hardy has suggested, more than once, that we have a referendum to give the owner of Benny's a 99 year lease on our Pier property. This is what this city does when it can't/won't maintain anything...you find a public/private partnership or another clever way to give up an asset. And this city is smart enough to know putting it on the ballot has a good chance of passing because that is the typical voter in this city.

Essentially a 99 year lease means turning over our valuable pier property to Benny's on the Beach, Inc. The last lease I have shows they are paying $20,000 a month to the city for ten years plus applicable taxes. Their Lease is up on February 13, 2023. Benny's has control of our Pier and can open or close it to the public based on a threat to public safety. They collect and keep all entrance fees to our Pier.

We all should be very interested to learn what the City has in mind as far as our assets especially our Pier and our Beach Park worth untold millions.
