On Friday, hundreds of protesters greeted President Obama’s motorcade in Roseburg, Oregon as a group called “Defend Roseburg” held signs and waved banners while others silently turned their backs as the motorcade rolled by.
The Whitehouse announced that Obama came to Roseburg in order to mourn with family members of the nine victims shot dead at Umqua Community College on Oct. 1.

Even though Obama politicized this horrible tragedy and now wants more restrictive gun laws, the shooter, Chris Harper Mercer, had no criminal record and had passed background checks to amass an arsenal of 13 weapons. His father blames the laws.
