Wagner is right in his last statement here about not blaming Washington, that is about it, the rest is hogwash. Wagner sounds like he would prefer we still lived in biblical times and had slavery. While many may not be God centered today, it is not just the USA, it is more about globalization and an understanding of the entire world and cultures now, we need to be more loving and accepting to all. Our world has made great strides in equal rights toward gays, minorities, and other religious beliefs, you cannot push Christianity on others, we all need to just live by example, without blame or judgement. Wagner sounds like another crackpot looking to make his name. He should learn more from his other Texan friend Joel Osteen, he is much more loving and leading by example.

Recall that Jesus was born a Jew and His own people had him killed as they did not want to accept His Christian views. We all need to live be example like Jesus did, embrace all people in a loving, accepting, and non-judging way without hate or violence. I agree, Joel Osteen is top notch. I love his show every Sunday night at 8pm on TBN, Channel 21 or 45 locally here. It is empowering! Wagner sounds to judging here in your link Lynn when you read between the lines.
Wagner must be rich. This is what rich people do in the USA, they manage people by keeping them in their place, the rich and big business are doing this in the USA, so don't just blame Obama. Drug companies are getting their power pushing their meds, others by their iphones, beats, soda,tattoos, and starbucks, control and pop culture, it is all consuming us, that is what the rich and big business wants to do to us. Can young people say no to pop culture? Can most say no to consumerism? No, so big business and the rich in this country win us over, controlling us. Is Wagner rich? Sounds like he just wants to be another Billy Graham.

WOW, what can I say here. Two different points of view. I believe the pastor is telling it like it truly is and kudos to him for speaking out.
He is just devoutly religious--a pastor...not some rich guy.
Condemning corporations that provide the jobs to all the people who are buying stuff that they want, is against free enterprise and the capitalistic country in which we live. Everyone has the opportunity to live the American Dream without bringing down our society in the process as the cause of their "pain." Communism doesn't work nor does socialism nor does a break away from God.
Lynn, please don't put pastors on pedestals, I am sure he is very wealthy, most are, look at the Pope, Billy Graham, and Joel Osteen, all millionaires and live in palaces. ALL religious leaders are human first and money is still a huge driving factor and they all have huge egos, except for maybe the pope, I never put a lawyer, priest, cop, or elected official on a pedestal, most are worse than others. They will have a harder time getting into heaven than a prostitute or drug addict the bible says.

I don't know about Wagner, but I do like Joel Osteen as well. And that's coming from Lynn's atheist fan.
We may have differing beliefs. Lynn, but I really think you cut through the crap in this city.
