The American public lacks a serious understanding
of socialism and communism.
- 52% of millennials would prefer
to live in a socialist (46%) or communist (6%) country than a
capitalist (40%) one.
- 26% of Americans have never
been taught about communism in any educational or professional setting.
- Half of Americans associate
socialism with welfare states in Western Europe and Scandinavia—not
Marxist dictatorships.
- Only half of Americans can
identify Cuba as a communist country and 41% of Americans do not
consider North Korea communist.

@9:00--You are showing your ignorance in that statement. Tells us, ole wise one, why is the U.S. economy doing better than at any time in the history of our country. And don't give me an answer like Obama started it or Obama is to be given credit. Heard that BS before.
The ignorant public doesn't vote so you don't know anything 9:00am you have a serious case of TDS get help.
It's true they don't know anything about these two systems, but they don't know anything about anything else either. What can you expect from them; their teachers don't know anything either. They grow up like savages, and the worse of it is, they think they are smart.
This is hilarious. You, yourself have confused socialism and communism when attempting to make political points against democratic socialists. you, yourself, dont understand or are willing to admit that the social security and medicare benefits you collect are socialist programs.
