Yesterday at 4pm at Constitution Walk in Lake Worth, the Blue Star Memorial Marker dedication was given, attended by approximately forty people. It started off with the Pledge to the Flag followed by guest speaker, Rose Marie Bear, Garden Club President. Retired Marine Cpt, Joe Matthews, gave an inspiring speech as did Mayor Pam Triolo and Vice Mayor Scott Maxwell.
The Garden Club planted the surrounding plants around the Memorial Marker. Every year, members are there to honor our Veterans.
