New Lantana City Manager gets raise

Deborah Manzo, 50, started her government career in Greenacres as an administrator and deputy clerk from 1985 to 1991. She had been the assistant in Greenacres since 2001. In between, she spent a decade as Juno Beach clerk.

On May 7, 2012, Deborah Manzo began her employment as city manager with the Town of Lantana, replacing long-time city manager Michael Bornstein who left for bigger challenges in Lake Worth.

Her salary of $97,477 was just raised by 15% to $112,000 per year and her contract extended to 2015.
