Something the media won’t tell the sheep is that Democrats are threatening to take the US over the cliff just to carry out their class warfare against the 1%. Obama even threatened to veto any deal that didn’t raise taxes on…you guessed it…the 1%.
Democrats are threatening to increase unemployment and wreck the economy even more just so they can raise taxes on the….1%. These increased taxes will not put a dent in Obama’s deficits or the national debt. It’s all window dressing to push the class warfare strategy and the middle class will be the hardest hit, so says Scotty Starnes.

Lynn I can take the same language and blame the Republicans for hurting the middle class:
Republicans are threatening to increase unemployment and wreck the economy so they can keep 1% of the country from having a tax increase. Why after losing an election would the losing party still hold on to an idea that so few support. The majority of Americans favor increasing taxes on the rich. This makes no sense. When did the rich get so powerful that they could keep the government from doing what best for the 99% of us. It's time guys like Romney pay more than 14%.
John, this country is evenly divided. A tax increase on the top 1 percent will not mean diddly squat in the scheme of things.
What will help, however, is changing the tax code. Romney pays what he is supposed to pay, no more and no less. Actually he did pay much more than he had to because he did not declare all of his charitable donations.
Perhaps we should start looking at a flat tax?
