Committee for a Prosperous Florida and Andy Amoroso

Comment Up

Sounds good, doesn't it? Committee for a Prosperous Florida? Don't we all want prosperity? The Committee was established in 2013 by Jeremy Ring of Margate and Jeff Clemens from Lake Worth, two Democrats. Under Clemens mayorship, he brought us the Mentoring Center that brought hundreds upon hundreds of illegal aliens to our city to live and loiter and get picked up for daily labor. This all enhanced the crime in Lake Worth that won't go away.

All of its contributions and expenditures are accessible by the public via this website.  I suppose medical marijuana will definitely make some people prosperous in this State should it get on the ballot. What about raising the speed limit to 75? That might get people in the grave a little sooner than they had expected and make funeral directors a little more prosperous--more Clemens bills.

This Committee of Jeff Clemens, Democrat, just contributed $500 to Amoroso. Also, the Friends of Mark Foley (who is a Republican) Committee gave the same. Anything goes in local politics...they are all in bed together.  Even commissioner John Szerdi's firm gave him $100 and a former candidate, Loretta Sharpe, chipped in the same but earlier paid over $300 for a fundraiser. He's bought a new computer, a printer and spent $55 towards gas for his vehicle. He's raised $12,810 to date, more than any other candidate, and has spent approximately $6,500. He must believe/know that  someone is running against him?

Committee for a Prosperous Florida is a private, not-for-profit committee comprised of a variety of individuals, business interest, and public officials established to promote an economical future for Florida and to promote the development of responsible tax and financial policies. To achieve these purposes, the Committee is empowered, subject to applicable state law, to solicit and accept voluntary contributions, to expend such contributions to further the support and election of candidates for elective public office in Florida whose views, voting records, or positions indicate a favorable orientation toward some or all of these purposes, and to do such other things consistent with the foregoing and with Florida law. The Committee is also empowered to make contributions, within limits approved by Florida law, to political committees supporting candidates or issues in the State of Florida.

Mark Foley> the one who was kicked out of Congress for going after underage boys?Gays stick with Gays most of the time.

I don't think that is a true statement at all, anonymous at 8:43. They might agree on issues that concern them personally like gay marriage but if you recall, Jo-Ann Golden was defeated by Amoroso.

All in bed together, haha. Is this a literal comment or just figurative?

Does that deserve a response?

Glad you remember Golden. Because just the other day you claimed you NEVER supported the Lake Worth socialists, yet you waved signs for Golden every time she ran. Thought you might have forgotten about that. Or maybe you don't consider waving signs or devoting your blog to a specific candidate supporting a candidate.
Hypocrite. Or is it liar? You decide for yourself.

I decided to post your insulting comment, coward that you are. You just love to take personal swipes and attacks.

I support the person, not their national politics whether it be Democrat or Republican or whatever. This is a non-partisan race here.

I do not condone nor do I support socialistic philosophy in any way shape or form. But I believe in Jo-Ann as a good human being and I will support the best person, not their political ideology. I would say every vote she made was a good one for Lake Worth other than voting for the Mentoring Center the first time around as did Jeff Clemens. She did vote to not renew their lease, if you recall. Something had to be done with the illegals hanging out and we were told that this would get them off the street. It didn't.

Don't bother coming over here and calling me a liar. You get no browny points. I hope my explanation calms you down.

WhAT DOES LAKE wORTH IN GENERAL NOT UNDERSTAND ABOUT THE WORD "ILLEGAL"?

THAT MEANS BREAKING THE LAW.THOSE WHO GAVE LAKE WORTH CITIZENS' PROPERTY(shuffle board building with comuters ,breeakfast, lunch and dinner to criminal aliens,
TO THE Sovereign American
land stealing from under Americans, food stamps, wellfare money free housing stealing criminal aliens, who commit their crimes in tandem with those Lake Worth anti-American, communist, anarchists, lowest or no tax payers, like McVoy who is occupying our Commission seat promoted their ILLEGAL demonstration in front of our City hall for stealing more from America. He swore to uphold the Laws of America, proves to be a subversive LIAR!What specifically has Amarosa done which shows economic progress for our City?He has his hand out every month for our taxes paid check.Management of our Palm Beach Island Beach and Casino?Such asset in the hands of competent people would bring profits, revenues to increase our tax base, with which we pay the Amarosa check and fellow incompetents,, for their open hands.Parrot Cove promotes incompetents, paid for with our tax money.
The potholes are shoddily patched till the next rain, Lake Worth taxpayers owned swimming pool is losing money, while Wellington's same pool is making money, increasing that Town's tax base! I know how to do same!Make more money with the Casino. We are losing $650,000 plus annually, this is the progress this Commission crop of totally incompetent losers is producing, who don't know how to generate revenue, but has their hands out monthly for our tax money paid checks.Such valuable Palm Beach Island(know what that is?) asset can generate millions by people with brains to create revenue.
They need replacement by business savvy, jon creation, with economics experience, and moral, well mannered Citizens, with extensive knowledge of all Departments of our City.Aqua America sold a Lake Worth Water Contract(did the Commission crop read it?For how much per gallon? For how long?) with a 100% profit for that National monopoly, the Commission occupants know nothing about! Who stole?Where is the public property Sales' Contract? We owe $23,400,000 for our R.O.Well plant. To pay with what?Pension fund?Hahahah!
Aqua America walked off with 100% profit, ask Mr.Coakley, Lake Worth tax payers must pay $23,400,000,- for the plant. With what?Progress? Please, don't lie, not all Lake Worth Citizens are stupid!

We need a Commission group of economical, business and municipal Government familiar people who know that progress is, and create revenue with Lake Worth many valuable assets. Not windbags, liars and idiots, who have their hand out for our tax money paid checks, without
ability to bring visible progress, with empty promises, vulgarizing our sidewalk planters, with ghetto colors. The phony, lowbrow language ill mannered , element is transparent to all Lake Worth taxpayers. Those planters should have been painted :bases beige, rims cream colors to make it look dignified, not vulgar third world.

Lake Worth is about five square miles. Why on earth would 12,000, or more, dollars be needed to run for office? What is so great about being a Commissioner that some people are desperate to become/stay Commissioners? It seems like a thankless job to me. So just WHAT is making these people raise this amount of money?

Well, let's think--
1. They believe they will or are doing wonderful things for Lake Worth to make it a pristine city with little crime.
2. It's the prestige
3. It's the power
4. There is some other influence for which we know nothing.
5. Promises under the table
6. They need the little bit of money that badly and their health insurance paid?
7. They like sitting up there looking down on all the peons and sheep. Sorry--that's covered in #3.
8. Someone's got to do this dirty job?

After reading the Post this morning, it was mentioned that Jeremy Ring was one of the original executives with Yahoo who made a fortune. That is probably where the bulk of the $28,798 deposit came from in his PAC. He is term limited and now has applied for the top job at FAU.
