If the Republican Party wanted to engineer a candidate it would be difficult to come up with one who ticks more key boxes than Mr Rubio. He went to college on an American football scholarship. He married a Miami Dolphins cheerleader. He speaks Spanish, and appeals to young voters. Most engaging of all is the story of how his parents came to America from Cuba. And he's climbing in the polls.

Marco blew it with me when he said that he would allow Muslim refugees into the country. The U.S. doesn't need one more Muslim and I thought everyone at this blog agreed...but now I'm finding out that this blog is just like all the other Republicans blogs. We need to be principled in what we stand for and if a candidate wants more Muslims, we have to say NO! I thought we wanted America back.
Instead stupid Republicans just want the same old thing again. Everyone is all talk, no action.
If we can be ensured that they are not terrorists. Since that is an impossibility, he is not really for letting in Syrian or any Muslim refugees.
Unfortunately, you have a misunderstanding of his position. According to Lifezette, this is what he said when asked about concerns regarding terrorists:
“The vast and overwhelming majority of people who are seeking refuge are not terrorists, of course, but you always are concerned about that.”
They're not terrorists? Really? We know otherwise, but still you support this guy?
It's one issue but it's probably the most important that this country faces besides the Mexican rapists.
Trump is the only choice. He represents us and our kind and we need to stop waffling on our support and get behind him for the long run. Remember the saying, you're either with us or against us.
What side are you on, Lynn?
Politifact says, Only about 10,000 refugees in the camps are slated for resettlement in the United States over the next year. Those making the perilous trip to Europe are not.
The priority refugees from this group would be torture survivors, people with serious medical conditions, unaccompanied children and teens, and women and children at risk. Those factors, coupled with background screenings, suggest they would likely not be ISIS operatives waiting to terrorize the United States.
Politifact is librul media crap.
Last Friday you criticized Obama for letting in those Muslim refugees saying:
"And on top of inviting terrorists into our country, we are feeding them and housing them. Thanks, Obama. Thanks for screwing up the Middle East and diminishing our safety here at home. We have never had such a mess in 239 years."
So if Obama does it, it's bad but if Rubio does it, it's okay?
Do you want a Muslim shopping in your stores or living in your neighborhood? We don't know where they're going to settle or what restaurants they're going to use.
Who's to say they won't become terrorists later?
Rubio is totally wrong on this issue and so are the people who are supporting him. I just can't believe you like this guy after everything that you've posted.
Jesus anonymous, it's not going to happen in just reading between the lines of what he wrote. Politicians state things carefully unlike Trump who is NOT a politician. And incidentally, Trump just changed his mind on accepting refugees.
And one more thing--NOT ONE REPUBLICAN HAS ALLOWED IN ANY REFUGEES. Only Obama is doing that.
I tend to agree with what Anonymous is saying here...the Muslim refugee/terrorist concern is a real one for many real conservatives and Rubio doesn't represent our interests with what he's saying. He's saying he would do the exact same thing that the President is doing if he were President. I don't like what Obama is doing so how can I like what Rubio says he would do?
We need to work toward having a Muslim-free America and the only one that is going to do that is our friend Trump. Only he can make America great again.
