Ukraine's Security Service Foils Russian-Linked Assassination Attempt
In a daring and complex operation, Ukraine's intelligence thwarted a dangerous plot.Daily Mail reported that the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) has effectively prevented a sophisticated plot designed to assassinate President Volodymyr Zelensky and other prominent Ukrainian leaders.
The Security Service of Ukraine disclosed that the conspiracy was thought to be masterminded by the Russian FSB.
The depth of the conspiracy was unsettling. The SBU detained two Ukrainian counterintelligence colonels; they were purportedly serving the interests of the FSB. These officers were accused of supplying crucial information and logistics for carrying out the assassination.
