Garland's days of acting above the law might be numbered

Merrick Garland Arrest is Imminent??

In a day and age where the word “unprecedented” has been thrown around more than a football during Super Bowl season, we find ourselves yet again at the brink of what can only be described as a political thriller.

This time, the spotlight shines on Rep. Anna Paulina Luna, a name that resonates with the unyielding spirit of the MAGA movement.

In recent events that could easily be mistaken for a script straight out of Hollywood, Luna fired a metaphorical warning shot towards Attorney General Merrick Garland that could echo through the halls of justice for years to come.

During a House Oversight Committee vote on whether to hold Garland in contempt, Luna found herself having to quiet down Democrat Jasmine Crockett, who, in a display fit for WWE, began screaming and cussing. Chaos erupted during a House Oversight Committee hearing between Reps. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-Ga.) and Jasmine Crockett (D-Texas) after Greene accused Crockett of wearing “fake eyelashes.”

The controversy started during a markup to hold Attorney General Merrick Garland in contempt of Congress on May 16. Greene asked if any Democrats on the panel were employing the daughter of Judge Juan Merchan, who is proceeding over former President Trump’s hush money trial in Manhattan.

Confused by the question, Crockett stepped in to ask if Greene understood the purpose of the hearing. “Please tell me what that has to do with Merrick Garland,” Crockett asked. “Do you know what we’re here for?” The GOP congresswoman responded with, “I don’t think you know what you’re here for” and continued with, “I think your fake eyelashes are messing up what you’re reading.”

After seeing this, what do you think: That we should get rid of women in Congress, or that we should get rid of Congress altogether?
