Lake Worth Beach veteran's home renovations revealed

Vets' home gets make-over

I heard this was around Cochran.

Retired Marine Corps Staff Sgt. Matthew Kruspe was surrounded by supporters from his Lake Worth Beach community Sunday as he and his family arrived to see their newly renovated home.

"It's a lot. It's overwhelming. It’s a true blessing. It's amazing. It's just — it's wonderful, thank you, thank you all," Kruspe said.

Kruspe served 12 years in the Marines, including tours in Afghanistan and Iraq, but finished his career with serious injuries to his brain, back, neck and shoulders.

That’s why the Military Makeover TV show crew decided to renovate his home to better fit his needs.

"This family is absolutely one of the best that we've ever had. Just everything that Matt, our veteran, has overcome and his great family that rally support around him," Art Edmonds, co-host of Military Makeover, said. [WPBF]
