On Tuesday, Cpt. Todd Baer, PBSO District 14, will give his quarterly report to the commission on Lake Worth crime stats. If you recall from his last report in April, drug overdoes were way up and there had been one murder. There was no mention of the number of shootings. Aggravated assaults were up from 239 to 279.
As reported here, we have had plenty of shootings in Lake Worth this year and wonder if any of it is related to increased gang activity.
