"Democrats are Sore Losers"

If ISIS praised Trump and criticized Democrats I'm sure you would also post that video.

Republicans have demonstrated that they will sell out their country and sell out their fellow Americans in the name of politics. They have no allegiance to the USA, only the Republican Party.

Trump supporter but I'm not a Putin fan and it makes me real uncomfortable when I see him and his supporters loving on Putin. As he said, "America First!" and we're not doing that when we're holding our enemy's hand. America will always come first for me.

11:06--you're flat wrong, as usual.
You certainly have a very low and wrong opinion about half of America. It's time to grow up and smell the roses.

11:20--Trump wants to know all of the facts before getting into devastating confrontations with a leader of any country...just the smart thing to do. Obama took the opposite side of Russia in the Syrian war. I have been saying all along, for the last two years, know thy enemy. You don't side with the Muslim Brotherhood (ISIS) in order to oppose Assad. Who's the enemy here?

Mac, you must have been one of the baby boomers who were told to hide under their desks during the cold war. You can come out now. The cold war is over. The Neo-Cons have been beating the war drum for years now, and they have sold this ideology to the Democrats. You really should read some Russian history. The Russian people have come to far under Putin's leadership to be silenced by your ignorance. Worry about ISIS, not Russia.

Russia is the largest country in "Europe" yet its economy is ranked 13th. That's some great progress Putin has done for his people. Not to mention invading Ukraine, Chechnya and Georgia but who cares becouse Russians now think they are leaders in the world even though they don't produce anything but petro!

Oil prices have hurt many countries. Russia is no exception. Oil will need to surge back to $100 a barrel for Russia to balance its budget. and they need to take a lesson from us--small business is one of the the lifelines of our economy.

I am a baby boomer, Anon at 2:08, and remember the ruthlessness of the KGB which Putin was part of. They are conniving manipulators and are masters of propaganda. It sounds like you may be a fan of Putin's so I'll say this delicately: they love people who think that they've come far. They look for them to manipulate. And they found a whole bunch in this last election.

Trump had his briefing on Friday so he's got all the facts. Based upon his last 24 hours of tweets, he still would rather blame any one other than Putin and Russia for their hacks of U.S. technology. As Americans, we need to remember that we're all on one team. Russia has never been part of that team and, no matter what your commenters think, should never be part of it. I'm still supporting Trump for now but, again, I don't love Putin or Russia and won't be riding along if I continue to see a favoritism towards Russia over the U.S.

Well as far as Chechnya goes, they could blow it off the map. That's where some of your best terrorists come from. Ukraine probably killed as many Jews as Germany did in WWII, and I haven't heard them apologize yet like Germany has, and Georgia produced the likes of Stalin. Russia had to recover from Yeltsin before they could make any progress. But, you're the big history buff. If you knew anything at all moron, you would thank Russia for winning WWII for us. Look up the statistics on how many Russians died in the war, and compare it to England and America. I think you should get in an arm wrestling match with Putin, and see who wins.

Mac, I'm not on your team. I think you should have voted for Mrs. Clinton, because you sound just like her. I am a fan of Putin, and of Russia. I've read the great Russian novelists; I'm a lover of the great Russian composers. If you are not familiar with the Russian soul, you don't know anything about Russia. The KGB; CIA; ISI; RAW; IDF; MI6, they are all intelligence agencies, and they exist for the sole purpose of protecting the country they represent. That includes killing people. I'm sorry if I had to be the one to break that to you.Incidentally, Russia is a Christian country. That's more than I can say about America these days.

Putin has cracked down on even talking about religion outside of church. It's now against the law. Why he did this in unclear to me as he is Russian Orthodox Christian.

Anonymous said...

Russia has an extremely diverse population. Each demographic has its' own religion. I guess he thinks it would be better to practice your religion privately, than getting into religious squabbles which can turn deadly. Russia is no stranger to terror attacks!

Lynn Anderson said...

Christians don't get into religious squabbles. I think that's Muslims.
He will not even allow you to e-mail your grandmother about an upcoming church event. :)

Like I said Lynn: he may be trying to avoid terror attacks on churches. Look what they do to the Christian Churches in Pakistan! When you have a large population of Non-Christians, Uzbeks; Kazaks; Tajiks; Chechens; Taters; and Dagestan Muslims, you try to keep the pot from boiling over.

Lynn Anderson said...

A lot of truth to that reasoning however, as I said, he is not even allowing private e-mails on religion.

I don't know. When a people has suffered unmercifully under serfdom for hundreds of years, and under Communism for another 100 after that, I guess there is a lot to work out privately and politically. My hope for Russia is that they continue to grow as a nation, and that if America can work with them, that would be better than working against them. Maybe it's just a utopian daydream.

I'm not sure where you're getting your info from but Putin is cracking down on Christians and other "foreign religions."

You actually he thought he embraced Christianity?

Wow.

Lynn Anderson said...

I never said that he "embraced Christianity." I said that he was Russian Orthodox. IMO, he's not any more Christian than was Hitler. and as I said above, he IS cracking down on religion.

And Mac, you're over-reacting. What Trump is saying is let's work with international leaders and find some common ground. NO one is giving any allegiance to Putin...merely saying let's listen and try to work it all out. That is always the prudent thing to do.

The operative phrase being "other foreign religions". Some of those, in fact I would say, many of those who voted for Trump happened to be independents. We're not into mind control. We think and we do research. Someone who just blindly follows any party is as stupid as a cow. Like saying America, right or wrong. We strive through hard work and educating ourselves to be right, not wrong. I don't know what Mac does, but he sounds like sombody's clone. And Mac, Reagan did love Gorbachev. I don't think Putin was much of a factor in those days.

Ah, Newsweek 8:05. There's a real conservative publication.
