"It's going to be a long year"

Comment Up

I knew that there would come the day when I agreed with something Easton has written in his Lake Worth Herald.

This week he wrote, "It's going to be a long year." That is a statement that I can agree with but not for the reasons he wrote about that are flawed opinions full of factual errors and the same old, tired attacks on our former city manager and city commission and all that they achieved.

What's going to make it "long" is the simple fact that this "visionary" commission (and I continue to put that in quotes for obvious reasons) will now be challenged. You don't have an airhead sitting up there, or someone who will be parroting the company line of this majority commission.  Everything will be out in the open if he has anything to do with it...no more secret meetings. You actually have a thinking man who will do the research and understand each item in front of him and the possible repercussions, if any, that could be detrimental to the City of Lake Worth.  Nothing will be taken with a grain of salt because the city manager says it is gospel.  The bullies will be challenged. The citizens will be treated with respect.

It will be a long year for the "visionaries" who will be constantly reminded of Ryan Maier's campaign slogan:  People not Politics.

Thank you to the people of Lake Worth for having the common good sense to elect Mr. Maier.Thank you to his excellent campaign team. Mr. Maier's campaign literature was a breath of fresh air. And most of all, thank YOU,Commissioner Maier for stepping up to run, knowing that Szerdi's camp would do anything it took to try to bring you down.Thank you for your unwavering good grace in the face of a bunch of rude ,strident harpies and goons. And thank you for your dedication to do right by the people of Lake Worth. Yeah well it sure is going to be a long year. The city is stressing out everyone including the employee's.
One hard working long time parks dept worker suffered a massive stroke and is in ICU on life support and a public service electrician was found dead in his apt. All this past week.

Can't wait for next year when they take control, fire Bornstein and bring back Stanton. Then we can go back to normal.

Well, Stanton would NEVER come back to Lake Worth. This place is toxic.

Mr Szerdi is an honest and respectable man. He did not release Ryan's scapes with the law records. He could have but didn't. Pay a few bucks online and see for yourself.

What stability?
The reason why your hope will not happen is because it is all sour grapes and full of lies. Putting everyone in a category because they voted against you is insane. People now understand how nasty and out of touch you really are.
Yeah, I really love ghettos and that's why I constantly write about the slum and blight and nothing really improving even though we are now out of the recession.
Usually it's Mark Easton that tells us all to move. Don't think so.

anonymous 11:45. Szerdi had a record too. Perhaps he can tell us all about what happened on 4-24-09. Perhaps both had speeding tickets. Ask Jeff Clemens about that.
