The Liberal Press

Comment Up

In many ways, this country has been led around by the nose by the liberal press that does have a lot of influence on how people decide their vote. Today's endorsements by the Palm Beach Post are predictable. Out of 17 partisan elections, the Post endorsed 13 Democrats.

It even endorsed medical marijuana against the advice of law enforcement across the State. Florida already has this covered.  On June 16, 2014, Governor Rick Scott signed a bill that legalized the use of a non-euphoric strain of marijuana to treat conditions such as epilepsy, Lou Gehrig’s disease and cancer. He signed SB 1030, which approved the medication, nicknamed Charlotte's Web, and SB 1700, which protects the identities of the patients who use it. That's just not good enough for pot heads. Polk County Sheriff Grady Judd said, "It's a fraud folks and anybody that thinks it's anything other than that is smoking marijuana." At least Boynton Beach is getting ready for it should it pass.  Strolling and dining on Lake Avenue could really be a kicker. Eventually will more sober houses pop up and the PBSO ask for tremendous budget increases just to keep up with the dopers?

But the biggest joke of all is endorsing Charlie Crist--the flip-flopper. When I use that term, he has egregiously changed his opinion on everything for which he once professed to believe--he was a die-hard Republican (and that was just a few years ago), then an Independent and now a Democrat.  You can't get any crazier than that. Self-serving?  You betcha.  Right now, according to the latest Yougove Poll, Crist leads Scott by .01%.

Just a reminder on one fact:

Here's a fact for you. Ric Scott stole $300 million from the u.s. taxpayers then pled the 5th over 100 times when he was on trial.
You consider those qualities in your candidate do you?

You low information Democrats like to spread this --

Here's a fact for ya--

That’s referring to a deposition Scott gave in 2000 for an unrelated civil case. To further muddy the waters, the commercial shows footage from a deposition for yet another unrelated case in 1995.

This attack should sound familiar, because it came up in the 2010 campaign, when Scott’s Republican primary opponent Bill McCollum said Scott "barely escaped imprisonment," which we rated False. PolitiFact Florida wanted to revisit this angle and see if Scott, who was never charged with wrongdoing in the federal fraud case, gave vague testimony to avoid time in the cooler.
