The outcome of this vote clearly shows that when the City chooses to negotiate on a morally substantial platform we are able to collectively come together and agree on a fair binding contract moving forward. I truly hope when the Pension Negotiations take place they continue to operate in good faith and chose to honor their word. Allowing us to keep our promised contributed pension contracts as is.

It's strange someone voted against. Didn't they want their raise?

its nice to see a positive thing happen for the employees. im sure theyre gonna be happy to see their retro checks. but the pension is the biggest issue. hopefully the city shows the same attitude when the fat cat is on the line.

I have a feeling because of nicholas, ltnn, the post articles and all our support the city wised up. I want a better city n it starts with the employees that turn the wheels

We remain optimistic and stand united when we address our pension. The City realize this will be an open dialogue and inclusion because we will not entertaine any snatch and grab tactic.

8 years and our first raise. Well overdue!

Its funny we had to fight tooth and nail for our onetime 4% in eight years yet Bornstien got 15000 a year added to his 100000+ salary. Got to love politics. Andy maxwell cm trilio are all crooks bleeding this city.
