Lake Worth Code Compliance Division

Comment Up

From the code Department's Power Point Presentation:
"The Code Compliance Division maintains that there is no silver bullet for attaining compliance. It requires an unwavering adherence to the prescribed methods as outlined in State Statute and a dedicated mind set by staff that compliance is the ultimate goal.  We believe in the three pronged approach to achieving compliance:

Educate
Communicate
Initiate

It is through these principles that we strive to maintain a standard of compliance as established by our elected officials.

We accept and encourage public participation in this process by expecting them to answer the call to be the additional eyes and ears of the city by making complaints, referring concerns, and furthering the Code Compliance Initiative."

Yolanda Robinson just got a promotion. With 1700 active code cases and 1521 vacant or foreclosed properties, our code officers keep busy. There are seven code officers and seven districts. Al Vega is the man in charge of where I live. Do you know who to contact in your district?

haha yourself. It doesn't take much with some people. It's all politics. I don't worry too much about this sort of thing.

I saw the code enforcement meeting? I thought I was watching Hitler give the brown shirts directions on how to be a good Nazi! Strong words for disgusting behavior from elected reps! UGH!
