Rape and Pillage - The Sheriff Budget

Comment Up

Yesterday, top dog Ric Bradshaw defended his $528 million budget request that was in front of the county commission--an increase of $19.5 million primarily for higher salaries and benefits.

Who was there to support him?  Our very own Lake Worth mayor, Pam Triolo. The Sheriff takes over half of Lake Worth's operating revenue as it is and crime is on the rise in Lake Worth.

The best statement of the day was from Mayor Priscilla Taylor who said:  "...We have roads that are not being paved.  We have bridges that are not being fixed.  So we do have an issue we must deal with."  But the County continues to pass Bradshaw's requests as he continues to stand his ground.

Scott, get rid of all this crime. Why are developers your priority when it should be all the God forsaken neighborhoods in out city and where gang bangers live. Get your priorities straight.
