Read about Boca
Legalizing medical marijuana will be before Florida voters in November.
But before voters have a say on Amendment 2, Boca's city staff wants to
keep the outlets out of the city until they can get a grip on regulating
them, said Mike Woika, assistant city manager. An ordinance introduced Tuesday night would put a moratorium on the marijuana dispensaries for at least a year.
Great--they beat us to it. Now they all can come to Lake Worth.

For the most part, our Boca city commissioners don't have their heads up their asses, they are proactive re: pot stores.
Hey Lake Worth..ya snooze....ya Lose
There are so many drugs on the streets of LW right now, a few pot stores wouldn't make a bit of difference
I'm not sure what annoys me more--liberals or liberals who do dope.
Well, I guess you do not like the liberal dope head clemens then?
I also don't like the hateful person who just tried to post here. Disgusting comment and it was deleted, sent to trash...just where it should be from a loud-mouth.
Just to clarify a point:
Are you against Med Marijuana or are you against having distribution sites in your city.
Or both. you seem to be very opinionated on most subjects...how bout this one?
I am against the abuse that will come with the passing of this amendment. Right now it is being abused in other states. When you can get a prescription that easily by just telling your doctor "I can't sleep," then we are opening up this well intentioned amendment to become a farce. There are a lot of people in the wings that will make small fortunes on this amendment. There needs to be much tighter controls. I'm all for pain reduction...you have already seen what happened when we had the pill mills.
I also believe that it is the gateway to dangerous addictive drugs. That has been proven by many doctors.
