Flag Day was started in 1895 by a schoolteacher. Read about it... Now there is all sorts of controversy regarding the Pledge and school children reciting it. Small minorities of politically correct people and atheists are demanding that the majority cease the practice. Now, 121 years later, there are people who totally disrespect our flag--stomping on it; burning it or urinating on it. Personally, I believe these people should be thrown in jail.
As President Dwight D. Eisenhower said when signing the amendment adding “under God” to the Pledge on Flag Day, June 14, 1954: “[The words under God] will help us to keep constantly in our minds and hearts the spiritual and moral principles which alone give dignity to man, and upon which our way of life is founded.”

This bogus holiday needs to be cancelled or changed to "Burn the Flag Day" because celebrating the American flag is so GD racist. How do you think that makes all our immigrants feel when we celebrate the flag? It sends the racist message that they are not wanted here.
