For a small city there seems to be a lot of suicides, rapes, stabbings, robberies, spousal abuse You name it and they seem to have it. Bring that up at the next commission meeting. What to do about it. This type of thing sure doesnt help promote coming to beautiful and peaceful LW.

THIS CITY IS ALL ABOUT DRUG DEALERS ---WHAT KIND OF PEOPLE DO YOU THINK HANG HERE

Did you ever think it might have been a gay/lover jealousy thing. They can do brutal things too if not worse.

DRUGS INVOLVED

heard it was a gay couple from South America who had been together for 11 years and were just breaking up.

They were my neighbors. Gabriel, who was shot, was a kind, generous person. He stood outside with a big bowl of candy on Halloween for the few kids who came by, and brought food bags around to single moms on Thanksgiving. I wouldn't necessarily group this with other crime in Lake Worth. Though no doubt, we have a big crime problem.

And yet the hateful 4:26 post falsely accusing the deceased of being a drug dealer was not only allowed to be posted but allowed to stay posted.
Nice positive feeling local blog you got going on here.

Everyone was guessing as to the cause, anonymous. Why are you so righteous? That poster said that the city was full of drug dealers. We have our share.

This blog is NOT about warm and fuzzies. You want that? Go out in the community and talk some sense into the deadbeats who are messing it up. You want to live in fantasy world? Stay home and read Cinderella.

Lynne's right. We really need more people in this town who are willing to talk honestly and openly about some very serious problems, including drugs and the people who addicted to them. No need for anyone to take offense. I don't think this murder-suicide, however, had anything to do with drugs. It was just one person not able to accept the end of a relationship. More Shakespearean than Lake Worthian.
