Subject: Valet Issues
Good Afternoon,

We are still having a major issue with valet parking for our guests. We have many elderly guests and guests with children that need to valet park instead of climbing through dirt piles to go eat. Valet have been parking in the empty lot at bottom of hill which has been working very well. They have been able to serve all customers quickly, there are no safety issues and everything has been smooth. Now we are told we can't use that parking lot. What are we to do? The city is making it impossible for us to do business if we don't get these issues resolved. I sent an email over a week ago and have not had any resolutions or responses with any ideas as of yet.

We would really appreciate some effort and considerations to do what is best for the business and vision of the casino project.

Please let us know why the parking lot we have been using is an issue and why can't we use this for the time being to better serve our guests.

Please let us know what we can do about this situation. Thank you,

--

Once again, business endeavor touch by City Goverment/Administration turns BROWN...

These poor people wrote to everyone they could think of who might listen to their problem...some of whom are no longer with the city. And just think, they are going to pick our energy provider.

OOOps, as Mark Easton would say, this new trio visionary has become part of his Ooops generation, a figment in Easton's mind. He is so confused on what commission did what. And as Blackman would say, the Herald has joined his revisionist history movement.

I also can't understand why the parking lot isn't finished, as it is as important to the operation of the casino as are the utilities. While I thought it was unfortunate that the lower parking lot completion wasn't completed in conjunction with the casino Grand Opening, I am especially concerned at the slowness of construction during the past 4 weeks.
Completion is a function of the when construction started and how well the construction program was planned, so all of that was determined well before this commission majority was seated.
Much like their decision on utilities when the casino construction was 60% completed, they have no choice but to go forward.
It would seem the Stanton legacy is longer lived than we knew.

There has been a huge staff turn over in all the departments over the last few years. This adds to the confusion of getting anything done.

Stanton is gone. Bornstein's team is the one NOT answering the phone. There were NO workers even at the site a couple of days ago. WTF is going on?Pam,Andy, Scott, Christopher,Suzanne, ANYONE?!?

Lynn Anderson said...

Oh, so now this is the former commission's fault as well as Susan Stanton's. You guys absolutely slay me. LOL
What is longer lived than we ever thought possible, is the constant BS. This commission has been in office for one freaking year now. Have them direct the CM to get the damn crew working up there. I haven't seen a soul in 2 weeks.
LOL
As far as the utility situation on our beach redevelopment, I can agree with you on that one. I believe we got snookered by all those involved on our beach--ALL OF THEM--and I'm not talking about commissioners.

Thanks for posting this letter. It just proves that our city, no matter who is in charge, just can't get anything done right,,,Don't ask maxwell to help, He says he's never been over there ever since he had a hissy fit about building it.

There is no Leadership with knowledge of the needs of a succesful business.3 past Commission members, let a malicious, subversive Co.make the decisions for the lay-out of OUR most valuable ,property our Palm Beach Island Beachfront land.
Singer Co.took a malicious pleasure into making certain that we would not be able to have tourism with disposable income, beach visitors, who need parking to drop their beachgoers off,and two idiot Commission members anarchist Cara jennings, and Rene, and malicious bad wisher Maxwell, who subverted the sustainability source for revenue, for Lake Worth,by crippling business inflow with the stupid notion of a park setting.

Even the simplest people know that when one goes to a Beach ,
one is not looking for a Park. They proudly, maliciously say with Singer Co.that people go to a Beach to find a park.
Singer gave it the mortal blow by turning OUR needed, perfect double lane road, into a single lane,on the Beach front to kill businesses who depend on human traffic for revenue ,as well as for the City's.When Beachgoers drop off their children, the single lane is blocked for consumers for the shops and restaurants, preventing them from doing business.
May the same bad luck happen to cara, rene and the third dirty mean Commission member,Maxwell, who always wished the City bad luck, but won't get lost, who voted to cripple the businesses, created with great sacrifices of humans, trying to make a better future for them and their families.Laugh Cara,Maxwell.I hope Michael Bornstein does something quickly to return to the double lane. He undestands business.Businesses can otherwise sue for loss of business by City's intentionally cutting of customer traffic,to kill businesses!

There is an undisciplined ,vulgar, malicious, lying slob ,running for one of our Commission seats. That slob has shown for years ,how he dispised Lake Worth, and its' Citizens, promoted by Blackkman, who was paid $3,000,- to get the slob votes of all the suckers, who are dispised and degraded consistently..Blackman's slob, now wants the same dispised people to be his suckers, and pay for his free Healthcare, Pension benefits, plus $7,000,000 .-in perks with free travel at Citizens of Lake Worth expense.
Are Lake Worth Citizens so masochistic,so stupid, after being spat on by this slob, that they will give the seat of a present Commissioner, civilized, dignified, with a Phd.in Environmental science, worthy of representing Lake Worth, defiled by a greasy slob bloated with lies and disdain, bloated with false made up accusations,of a twisted, devious mind, of unhealthy bodies..This is not what represents Lake Worth as a City ,where the intelligentsia and the highest taxpayers, are disciplined ,dignified people, doing Community services, and not maligning others, as most of them are well bred.A few wannabees are treacherous, and foulminded,
they know who they are, wannabee Golfviewers and wannabee College Parkers, wich at one time were areas with civilized ,people. Now the unsavory vulgar element dominates City hall meetings, and turns it into a thrashy ,display venue for the City's vulgar, loud, trashiest element, respected by its' own kind on the Commission.Nice people prefer no company over such mob behaviour gatherings.See you, when it has become civilized again.

Lake Worth has has a non-contributing,negative element, which does not know that a City needs revenue to exit,to function,to pay salaries for all employees who provideservices for the whole City. One Commission memebr maxwell has always been against any project of the City which could generate revenue for its' sustainability.Overdevelopement has made lake Worth mainly a rental City. The primitive wellfare for all their kind, without paying for anything ,has fought revenue generating projects for years. These deviates, parasites, don't want businesses on our most valuable land on Palm Beach Island to succeed, and therefore voted to cripple access road to these businesses.Pam Triolo.Commission Chair, member of the Chamber of Commerce should have been against crippling access double lane Beach roadm to businesses which are the life line for all our Beachfront shops and restaurant.
Is she afraid of the vulgar ,loud thrash that got her into Office?
For Lake Worth's sake, I hope not.
City Manager, deserve your salary, get the business access road restored to two-lane, and upper parking made available for our elderly(9000) and from surrounding Condos and handicapped!
They will bring revenue, not Maxwell and the parasites, deviates, subversives and will make our City sustainable!

The one's who can't get there to eat should be VERY thankful. While the service is great and the place is very good,,, the food served is HORRIBLE. I would not recommend anyone to go tjere to eat just drink (if you must). And NO LYNN, I am not the only person who thinks so, Three(3) elderly ladies were sitting next to me and complained about their food before I ordered but I was giving Mulligan's the benefit of the doubt. Stupid me.

Anonymous at 8:38--I wrote a review after eating the4e twice, breakfast and lunch. It was not entirely positive so I decided to hold off on it. Someone just wrote a review for travel magazine and gave it a high rating in both food and service. I found the presentation lacking and it was totally chaotic while I was there. Once the parking lot gets done and things get down to normal, I am hoping that I get a bigger bang for my buck. Will do a blog on it all later.

Who is in charge of oversite at the casino now that margolis is gone and there was never a project manager? is there really anyone qualified, not that qualifications mean much in this city. Not returning phone calls says no one is taking responsibility, and please don't tell me it's jamie brown.

City Manager Bornstein says his management team consists of Juan Ruiz, Jamie Brown and Steven Carr. I would suspect that it is Juan Ruiz who, in my opinion, has way too much to do. This project has always needed a skilled contractor who was watching over our interests on a daily basis. Never happened.

I've eat there twice this week. Day one I had the Mulligans Fish Fry, it was terrible, enough panko bread crumbs for five filets, bread so thick, French fries are the same at Arbys, no coleslaw or pickle on the side. Worst sandwich I eat, John Gs was excellent fish. The Misses had a pasta dish, it was average, costs $19.00, way over priced.
We heard people complaining next to us, elderly Palm Beach type said, "what the fu k is this"? No joke.

Yesterday we go to bar, I order a Corona Extra, its good, ask for another and they say they have no more, only warm. Bartender running around putting boxes everywhere, on order. Order oysters, very watery and bland, no taste. Clams, average, very chewy. Wings over done.

This place is close in two years, better put Duffys, better food and prices.
palm beach people not going back here like John Gs. Sorry, overpriced, very average food, will try one more time.

Definitely over-priced. The slaw for a dollar more was bland and not creamy. It should be a staple with each meal. They need lessons from John G's. I felt as if someone in the kitchen just dumped some food on my plate.

Yes, overpriced! We went opening weekend and the service was very prompt when we first sat down (at the bar), but then had to wait about 15 minutes to have someone take our order. The sauce on the salmon dish was almost inedible, but overall the rest of the food was good. I love having them there, I just hope they can work out the kinks that always go along with opening a new restaurant or location.
