Tampa leads ranking for Foreign National Investors

Three Florida cities ranked in Top 10

Tampa has been ranked the top U.S. city for foreign multinationals to do business, according to the latest Financial Times–Nikkei “Investing in America” report.

The annual study evaluates more than four dozen factors important to international investors, including workforce availability, infrastructure, business climate, and quality of life.

Tampa rose 26 spots from last year, driven by lower utility costs, reduced crime rates, and a diversified economy that scored well in a new “trade war resilience” category.

Florida secured two other spots in the top 10, with Orlando ranking fourth and Miami ninth.

UAE Commits to $1.4 Trillion US Investment After Trump Meeting

The United Arab Emirates (UAE) has committed to a 10-year, $1.4 trillion “investment framework” in the U.S., the White House announced Friday.

The new framework “will substantially increase the UAE’s existing investments in the U.S. economy in AI infrastructure, semiconductors, energy, and American manufacturing,” according to the administration.

The company declined to say how much of the figure it was already planning to spend with its existing U.S. supply base, which includes firms such as Corning, which makes glass for iPhones in Kentucky.

Apple Chief Executive Tim Cook announced the plan with a post on X.

Peters Sisters largest commercial property owner in Lake Worth Beach

Lake Worth Beach real estate: Peters sisters say they rejected $43 million offer for 47 properties

The Peters family first began buying property in Lake Worth Beach in 2002 when Douglas Peters, the sisters' father, bought a small strip of stores on Dixie Highway that the family still owns. Later, he retired and turned it over to his three daughters. They opened a real estate company on Lake Avenue in one of the buildings they own.

They had a few offers in later last year to sell their holdings in Lake Worth. At the time they said they would "mull" it over.

Now they have announced they will hold on to their properties in Lake Worth Beach, 50 at the moment with another one soon to close making it 51. They are the largest commercial property owner in our city.
