Freedom of Speech in France

WATCH: Woman pleads for American help as France seeks to jail her for exposing rape threat due to migrant invasion

'You should come to the U.S., freedom of speech is still observed in Red (Republican) states. We welcome you'

A French woman is pleading with Americans and European patriots for help as her own government is looking to jail her for publicly exposing the dangers African and Arab immigrant men pose to women in France.

"I need your help," said Thaïs d'Escufon in a video posted Tuesday on X, as she faces a possible six-month prison sentence and $3,500 fine.

"Tomorrow I may be sentenced to unsuspended prison for daring to say on French TV that the main danger to women in France comes from black African and Arab immigrant men, even though I was defending a woman who was herself raped by a Central African man subject to an OQTF order in the courtyard of her Paris apartment building.

"Having myself survived an attempted rape by a Tunisian migrant four years ago, I could not remain silent. But for having spoken these words on television set, the prosecutor has sought a prison sentence against me."

D'Escufon says the prosecutor "dismissed our two stories as insignificant incidents which did not excuse my hate speech. Yet all I did was describe a reality that most French people are afraid to speak about precisely because the justice system is capable of convicting them for describing what they see with their own eyes and experience firsthand.

Coalition plans to reopen critical Strait of Hormuz

UK, France Prepare Hormuz Mine-Clearing Mission As Ceasefire Talks Advance

The United Kingdom and France are finalizing plans for a multinational mine-clearing operation in the Strait of Hormuz that could begin shortly after any ceasefire agreement between the United States and Iran, according to Bloomberg.

The proposed mission would involve 15 nations and would include direct communication with Tehran to prevent misunderstandings as coalition vessels work to reopen one of the world’s most important maritime chokepoints.
According to Bloomberg, the UK and France have almost finished formulating a plan to implement a mine/clearing operation in the Strait of Hormuz, following a potential deal between the U.S. and Iran on a lasting ceasefire. The plan would be a multinational effort and comes… pic.twitter.com/pWZ8MUlJ1y-- OSINTdefender (@sentdefender) June 4, 2026
The effort comes after months of disruption in the Gulf following the 2026 escalation that began when U.S. and Israeli forces struck Iranian nuclear facilities. In response, Iran laid naval mines in the Strait of Hormuz, effectively closing a waterway responsible for roughly one-fifth of global oil shipments.

The closure has triggered one of the largest oil supply disruptions in modern history, removing an estimated 10 million to 14 million barrels per day or more from global seaborne oil trade.

George Clooney swiped by Trump after getting French citizenship

President Trump Blasts George Clooney Following French Citizenship News

President Donald Trump took to Truth Social on Wednesday to blast actor George Clooney following reports that the star and his family were granted French citizenship.

Trump mocked Clooney’s career and his history of political activism, labeling him one of the "worst political prognosticators of all time."

The President linked the move to his ongoing criticism of open-border policies. He stated, "George and Amal Clooney... have officially become citizens of France which is, sadly, in the midst of a major crime problem because of their absolutely horrendous handling of immigration, much like we had under Sleepy Joe Biden."

Trump further diminished Clooney’s standing in Hollywood, claiming the actor was never a true movie star. "Clooney got more publicity for politics than he did for his very few, and totally mediocre, movies," the President wrote.

The post also highlighted Clooney's role in Democrat fundraising and his public push for Joe Biden to exit the 2024 race. Trump characterized the actor as "just an average guy who complained, constantly, about common sense in politics." Source: DailyPatriot

Emmanuel Macron capitulating to the enemy!

Macron of France wants a Palestinian State

Huckabee: Macron's word play disingenuous, harmful & pushed by Palestinian Authority

Words matter, says Mike Huckabee. And while French President Emmanuel Macron offered no substance, no operational plan to his call for a Palestinian state, his words did have an effect – a negative one.

"It was outrageous for Macron to do this, and it came at a horrible time. It basically rewards Hamas and is one of the reasons that they became unreasonable in any talks to end the war in Gaza," Huckabee, the U.S. Ambassador to Israel, said in an interview with Family Research Council President Tony Perkins.

Macron said that he will revisit this topic in an official statement at the United Nations General Assembly in September.

In the post, he attached a letter he previously wrote to Mahmoud Abbas, president of the Palestinian Authority, expressing the same sentiment. In the letter, the costs to civilians on both sides began with terrorist attacks by Hamas on Oct. 7, 2023.

Huckabee said, if one nation can just declare another place on the earth to be a state, then I think it would be fitting for the U.K. to declare France a British colony."

Maximum Security Prison to be built by France

France Copies Trump, Builds ‘Supermax’ Prison Overseas

In a surprising move certain to please President Trump and his MAGA supporters, France plans to build a maximum-security prison for drug traffickers and radical Islamists in its overseas territory of French Guiana.

While Democrats like Chris van Hollen and foreign critics have bashed Trump’s effort to send deported illegal alien criminals to foreign countries such as El Salvador, to house them in maximum security prisons there, it seems this major European ally is doing something very similar.

Though unlike Trump’s deal where — for now — only illegal alien criminals deported from the U.S. are sent to a foreign prison, French Guiana belongs to France, and its much smaller prison in the Amazon jungle will house French criminals.

It still significantly echoes the Trump effort.

Press Secretary responds to French Politician

Karoline Leavitt delivered a fiery response to a French politician

White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt delivered a fiery response to a French politician’s absurd demand that the United States return the Statue of Liberty, a symbol of freedom and friendship between the two nations.

During a press briefing on Monday, Leavitt shut down the ridiculous claim made by Raphaël Glucksmann, a European Parliament member from France, who argued that America no longer upholds the values the statue represents.

Glucksmann, a leftist politician, accused the U.S. of siding with tyrants and suppressing scientific freedom, claiming that France should reclaim the iconic monument.

Leavitt’s response was nothing short of epic. “Absolutely not,” she declared, before delivering a sharp rebuke to Glucksmann. “My advice to that unnamed low-level French politician would be to remind them that it’s only because of the United States of America that the French are not speaking German right now,” she stated. “So, they should be very grateful to our great country.”

Her remarks were a clear reminder of the historical role the U.S. has played in defending France and Europe, particularly during World War II, when American forces liberated France from Nazi occupation.

The French politician’s comments are emblematic of a broader trend of anti-American sentiment among European elites, who often criticize the U.S. while simultaneously relying on American military and economic power to safeguard their own interests.

Trump is showing the World - Populism and Patriotism

It's OK to focus on national interests and patriotism

Jordan Bardella, the popular leader of France's conservative National Rally party, told Newsmax on Thursday that President Donald Trump's victory signaled to Western democracies that it's OK to focus on national interests and patriotism.

"We are reconciling the people with politics and placing them back at the center of major political decisions," Bardella told "The Record With Greta Van Susteren" a day before he is scheduled to speak at the Conservative Political Action Conference in Maryland.

"People don't want to disappear, and we cannot stop a people with renewed hope," he said through an interpreter. "What is true is that nowadays, Trump is showing us that this can be done.

"He is defending his country's interests and demonstrating that in politics, it's not just about talking. You can actually take action, and this is a really exciting, positive message for the entire Western world."

Trump to attend reopening of Notre Dame Cathedral In Paris

Trump To Attend Notre Dame Cathedral Opening this weekend

Well, folks, it looks like President-elect Donald Trump is gearing up for his first overseas trip since reclaiming the political stage, and it’s a big one: the reopening of Notre Dame Cathedral in Paris. Trump’s announcement on Truth Social came with characteristic flair, praising French President Emmanuel Macron’s leadership in restoring the iconic cathedral after the devastating 2019 fire. “It will be a very special day for all!” Trump declared.

This marks the start of Trump’s post-election reentry onto the global stage, where he’s been making moves to rebuild international relationships—or at least his version of them. Over the weekend, Trump hosted Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau at Mar-a-Lago, signaling a return to his unconventional, personality-driven diplomacy.

His upcoming trip to Paris, arranged after discussions between Trump’s and Macron’s teams, seems set to solidify his intent to reassert America’s prominence in world affairs.

France, fanning the flames big time

World War III Alert Just Came In – U.S. Ally’s Surprise Move Could Be the Final Trigger

Many have blamed Joe Biden for the ongoing war in Ukraine. He ignored Russia’s threats before the invasion. And afterward, he has fanned the flames of conflict by spending billions of U.S. tax dollars.

Reports even indicate that Biden prevented Ukraine and Russia from agreeing on a peace deal.

That was over two years ago, with the war still raging. Biden has shown little intention of helping to end the conflict. Now, things appear to be getting worse. France has threatened to do this for a long time. Now, reports reveal they are ready to pull the trigger.

A new report reveals that France, a part of NATO, is about to send troops to Ukraine—the first in this ongoing war with Russia.

This is the first time during the war that a foreign nation is sending soldiers into Ukraine.

Macron wants a third Super-Power

France’s Macron Humiliates Biden, Snubbing U.S. On China and Taiwan

More and more coutnries are drifting away from the U.S.

French President Emmanuel Macron said this weekend that European are not looking to be “caught up in crises that are not ours,” while claiming he is intent on “[reducing Europe’s] dependency on the United States,” to avoid being dragged into a conflict between the US and China.

Macron has demanded that Europe reduces its reliance on the United States and avoids getting dragged into a confrontation between the US and China over Taiwan.

POLITICO, which issued a bizarre disclaimer on its interview with the French President, reported the comments in a major blow for the Biden government. The corporate media had previously claimed that the presidency of Donald Trump would cause blowback from international allies, but the largest foreign policy problems have, in fact, emerged under Biden.

POLITICO’s disclaimer read:
As is common in France and many other European countries, the French President’s office, known as the Elysée Palace, insisted on checking and “proofreading” all the president’s quotes to be published in this article as a condition of granting the interview. This violates POLITICO’s editorial standards and policy, but we agreed to the terms in order to speak directly with the French president. POLITICO insisted that it cannot deceive its readers and would not publish anything the president did not say…
I guess France doesn't trust the press anymore than we do.

France arguably is a socialist country, considering its high tax rates and extensive social programs. However, it is not communist, as the state does not attempt to control the means of production. President Macron has long been a strong proponent of European “strategic autonomy,” which would see further the European Union integrate both militarily and politically purposes. These plans would create, according to Macron, a “third superpower” to rival the US and China.

Biden Exposed as Clueless

John Kerry Admits Biden Had No Idea About Recent Foreign Dispute

Well, it is very possible that biden did not know...we all believe that those on his staff are running the show and have most likely kept him in the dark about most everything.

Last month, Australia dumped a multi-billion dollar contract with France for submarines, then signed on with the U.S. and the U.K. instead. The move came as a surprise to France who quickly cancelled a gala in the U.S. and recalled its ambassadors to the U.S. and Australia.

I don't know how much logner Biden can use the excuse that he's only been in office for eight months or so and just wasn't aware...He's been in Washington D.C since 1973.

Hydroxychloroquine

France is doing it!

The French government has officially sanctioned prescriptions of chloroquine to treat certain coronavirus patients. In the United States, President Donald Trump has also been touting the use of chloroquine and two other anti-malaria drugs to fight the virus.

Speaking about chloroquine, Jérôme Salomon, France's director general of health, said: "This ensures continued treatment of patients who have been treated for several years for a chronic condition with this drug, but also allows a temporary authorization to allow certain patients with coronavirus to benefit from this therapeutic route."

In the US, the Food and Drug Administration has moved quickly to make the unproven treatment available to tens of thousands of patients in New York with COVID-19. [France24]

John Kerry doesn't want illegals on his property

This has to do with his beach in Saint-Briac-Sur-mer, France.

The irony, of course, is that liberal politicians like Kerry foist their open borders agenda on ordinary Americans regularly, but hide behind walls to protect their uppity lifestyles.

ISIS calling for assassinations of both French candidates

“TERROR fears are growing in France amid revelations ISIS has made a sick call for jihadis to carry out lone wolf attacks on election day this Sunday.

Nations such as France and Sweden were particularly hard hit by the web of horror being cast about the globe, and now, with mere hours to go before France heads to the polls, ISIS leadership is making sick demands of their large spread of lone wolf operatives."

Frenchman likes Bernie the Socialist?

Comment Up

Do we really care what a guy from France has to say? Since the 2012 elections, the executive branch in France is currently composed mostly of the Socialist Party so who would be surprised that some guy from France likes Bernie and isn't happy with anyone else running to get our country back on track.

"Quick review from a badly-informed Frenchman:

  • Trump -- you ARE joking, right?
  • Cruz -- No clue.
  • Rubio -- No clue.
  • Clinton -- Highly, highly, highly competent. Lots, lots, lots of baggage. And for some reason her charisma does not work on me.
  • Sanders -- Some interesting proposals and a reputation for clear thinking.

Honestly, hard to fall in love with any of the candidates."

Well, we're not that much "in love" with you either.
