Democratic Socialists of America behind AOC for President

Democratic Socialists rally behind AOC for 2028 presidential bid after Mamdani's New York City victory

Members of the Democratic Socialists of America are openly pushing to endorse Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez for president in 2028, emboldened by a string of far-left primary wins, even as early polling shows her trailing badly in her own ideological lane.

At the DSA's national convention in Chicago, the organization held a closed-door meeting to establish a formal process for potentially endorsing the New York congresswoman's White House bid, the Daily Mail reported.

The move comes on the heels of Zohran Mamdani's election as mayor of New York City, a result DSA members now treat as proof that their political model can scale far beyond safe progressive districts.

The organization's confidence is not baseless. Beyond Mamdani's mayoral win, Ocasio-Cortez-endorsed candidates Analilia Mejia and Adam Hamawy won Congressional races in New Jersey. In Michigan, AOC backed Abdul El-Sayed in a Senate primary. Frances Gill, a Los Angeles-based DSA member, told the Washington Post that the organization's every move is now oriented around 2028.

Democrat Polls for 2028

Kamala Harris dominates AOC in early 2028 Democratic primary polling

Three years before the next presidential election, Democrats are already polling their bench, and the results tell a familiar story about a party that lost the White House, lost the Senate, and lost House seats, yet keeps circling back to the same names that led them there.

A Lake Research Partners survey of 800 Democratic primary voters, conducted May 6, 11, tested a hypothetical 2028 presidential primary using ranked-choice voting scenarios.

Former Vice President Kamala Harris led a 13-candidate field with 25 percent support. Representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez of New York finished fourth at 9 percent, a 16-point gap that widened further when the field narrowed.

In a five-candidate ranked-choice simulation, Harris held 30 percent. California Governor Gavin Newsom took 24 percent. Former Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg drew 22 percent. Ocasio-Cortez and Senator Mark Kelly tied for last at 12 percent each.

When elimination rounds played out, Harris beat Newsom in the final matchup, 52 percent to 48 percent. The poll carried a margin of error of plus or minus 3.5 percentage points.

Early general election polls taken three years out are historically unreliable. But the Democratic appetite for testing these matchups reveals a party already gaming out 2028 with the same roster that failed in 2024.

Democrat Party choice for 2028

VP Vance Predicts ‘Dumbest’ Democrat Candidate Will Secure Nomination In 2028

Vice President JD Vance took aim at the Democratic Party’s likely 2028 presidential contenders during a lighthearted but pointed exchange on Fox News, joking that the party’s “dumbest” candidate is most likely to emerge from the primary.

In an exclusive interview released Wednesday on Jesse Watters Primetime, Watters raised speculation about California Gov. Gavin Newsom’s national ambitions, noting the governor’s frequent media appearances and rumored White House aspirations.

When asked whether Democrats would attempt to impeach President Trump again if they regain control of Congress, Vance said such a move would be predictable—and revealing.

“I’m sure he’ll get impeached,” Vance said. “Look, they have nothing to actually run on or govern on.”

“Their entire obsessive focus of that party is they hate Donald Trump,” he continued. “So, if they ever get power, are they going to lower Americans’ taxes? No. Are they going to make your life more affordable? No. Are they going to solve the crime crisis? No.”

JD Vance in lead for GOP 2028 Nomination

Vance Leads Trump Jr. By 43 Points For 2028 Nomination

Vice President JD Vance has solidified his position as the clear early frontrunner for the 2028 Republican presidential nomination, according to a new Yale youth poll. The poll found that 51% of respondents would vote for Vance in the primary.

Vance dominates the field, leading Donald Trump Jr. by a massive 43 points. Outgoing Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis places a distant third with only 6% support.

The survey offered a fascinating look at the generational shift within the GOP. Among Republicans ages 18–22, Vance is the only candidate who leads President Trump, showing an 8-point advantage.

The current Secretary of State, Marco Rubio, recently confirmed the changing dynamic, stating publicly that Vance is the undeniable GOP front-runner in 2028.

Newsom running a Shadow Campaign?

OMG

In a hidden-camera sting that's straight out of my old playbook, my team at O'Keefe Media Group has caught a top California Democratic Party insider red-handed admitting the truth: Governor Gavin Newsom is intentionally gerrymandering districts to crush Republican voices and lock in one-party rule.

But that's not all.

This isn't just about California – it's a shadow campaign to funnel your tax dollars and donor money into Newsom's 2028 presidential bid, in direct violation of state law.

Let me break it down for you, because the elites in Sacramento think they can hide in plain sight.

We sent an undercover journalist straight to Ross Pike, the California Democratic Party's Regional Director overseeing Orange, Riverside, and San Diego counties. Posing as a potential ally, our guy got Pike to spill everything over drinks. And spill he did.

"Yes, we're very intentionally gerrymandering," Pike bragged, revealing how Newsom's Proposition 50 – sold to voters as a harmless "fight back against Trump" – is really a Trojan horse. It lets Democrats redraw district lines to merge conservative strongholds into liberal mega-districts, ensuring no GOP candidate ever wins again. No more fair fights. Just engineered domination.

But here's the bombshell that should make every American's blood boil: Pike laid out Newsom's endgame. "He doesn't have any committees open right now," Pike said of Newsom's fundraising for Prop 50, "but that doesn't mean he can't open a committee later and transfer the money." [James O'Keefe]

The Democrat knives are out for John Fetterman

John Fetterman got a nasty surprise from Democrats that will change everything

John Fetterman has become a maverick in the Democrat Party.

And John Fetterman got a nasty surprise from Democrats that will change everything.

Pennsylvania Democrats plan 2028 primary challenge three years early.

Pennsylvania Democrats aren’t waiting until 2028 to start their civil war over Senator John Fetterman.

Musk ditches the America Party to back Vance’s 2028 run

Elon Musk just made one strategic move for 2028

Elon Musk has been playing political chess while everyone else was playing checkers.

The billionaire entrepreneur just abandoned his third-party dreams to throw his full weight behind the next Republican frontrunner.

And Elon Musk just made one strategic move for 2028 that has JD Vance grinning from ear to ear.

The world’s richest man has officially pulled the plug on his "America Party" and is now directing his financial firepower toward Vice President JD Vance’s expected 2028 presidential campaign.

Musk, who spent nearly $300 million supporting President Trump’s 2024 victory, had announced the America Party back in July after 65.4% of his online followers voted in favor of the idea.

But the third-party experiment never got off the ground.

Pete Buttigieg, Wrong Choice

Polls Show Democrats’ TOP Candidate For 2028 Has ZERO PERCENT Support from a Group of Voters Democrats NEED to Win the Election

Former Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg is currently the most likely left-wing candidate to be the Democratic party’s 2028 presidential nominee, but there’s only one problem, he has 0% support from Black voters – and no, that’s not a typo.

A recently conducted Emerson College poll found that Buttigieg has the highest support (16%) amongst the party’s 2028 prospects. Former Vice president Kamala Harris was second with 13% and California Governor Gavin Newsom is third with 12%.

But despite being the most popular candidate amongst Democrats – Buttigieg has an unbelievable 0% support amongst Black voters that will GUARANTEE that he would lose the election if he were to secure the nomination.

It can't be because Blkacks don't like Gays as they are pragmatic about the LGBTQ population.

If the Democrats are dumb enough to put Buttigieg up there, it could officially mark the END of consistent Black support for the Democratic party!
