Marco travels to Latin America

Panama Canal Negotiations in Focus as Rubio Visits Central America

‘It is not in the national interest of the United States to have a canal we paid for and we built used as a leverage and a weapon against us,’ Rubio said.

U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio kicked off his trip to Latin America, arriving in Panama on Feb. 1, with a focus on the Panama Canal and China’s intrusion into the zone.

“Secretary of State Marco Rubio will travel to Panama, El Salvador, Costa Rica, Guatemala, and the Dominican Republic from February 1–6 to advance President [Donald] Trump’s America First foreign policy,” the U.S. Department of State said in a Jan. 31 statement.

Rubio is expected to discuss the United States’ interest in the critical waterway connecting the Caribbean Sea and the Pacific Ocean. The president has suggested retaking control over the canal, citing the threat of Chinese hegemony in the region.

As we now know, Marco made a deal with Panama's President.

L.A. Police chief involved in plan to shield illegal aliens from deportations before Trump returns to the White House.

L.A.P.D. Chief caught working with foreign governments to stymie one Trump policy

With the election now over, the political Left has lost the argument and is about to lose power.

But certain public officials haven’t yet gotten the message and it is sparking outrage.

Now the L.A.P.D. Chief got caught working with foreign governments (Mexico and other Central American countries) to stymie one Trump policy.

Immigration and border enforcement emerged as issues that were front and center to American voters in this year’s Presidential election. The results were clear.

Donald Trump and Republicans who favor following existing immigration law won and Democrats in favor of open borders anarchy lost.

Los Angeles’ new Chief of Police Jim McDonnell has no intention of fulfilling the clear intentions of voters. McDonnell has said he will “not assist” with “mass deportations” to be undertaken during the incoming Trump administration.

BIDEN KEEPS WASTING BILLIONS OF TAXPAYER MONEY

Biden Caught Funneling Money to Central America

A billion here, a trillion there--when will it end?

The Biden regime’s attempt to tackle illegal immigration by sending $4.2 billion in aid to Central American countries is a misguided and inefficient plan that fails to address the underlying issues of illegal immigration.

Rather than providing short-term solutions such as workforce development programs or clean energy infrastructure, the administration has overlooked the true drivers of illegal immigration, including political instability, organized crime, and lack of economic opportunity.

The funds allocated through the Central America Forward framework are not being used to offer lasting financial security for those seeking asylum and refuge from their home nations.

UASID and the Central America Service Corps are offering young people paid community service opportunities instead of long-term job prospects and economic stability. This lack of commitment towards more comprehensive solutions is a disservice to those who are struggling due to poverty and violence in their home countries.

$4.2 billion allocated to Central America for "Root cause" of Illegal Immiration

Biden Regime Funneling Money to Central America to Slow Illegal Immigration

The Biden regime’s plans to tackle illegal immigration by sending money to Central American countries is a misguided and costly endeavor.

Despite the government’s projected $4.2 billion towards “private sector commitments to create economic opportunity in northern Central America,” according to a White House fact sheet, the move overlooks the multitude of other factors that drive illegal immigration, such as political instability and organized criminal activity.

The funds allocated by the Central America Forward framework will do little to address the current immigration crisis in the US.
