Haiti's TPS Designation

Federal Judge Upholds Block on Trump Administration’s Termination of Haitian 16-Year TPS for 350,000 Migrants

After reviewing country conditions and consulting with the appropriate U.S. government agencies, Secretary of Homeland Security Kristi Noem determined that Haiti no longer meets the conditions for its designation for Temporary Protected Status (TPS).

See Termination of the Designation of Haiti for Temporary Protected Status, 90 FR 54733 (Nov. 28, 2025).

Haiti’s TPS designation and related benefits were slated to terminate on Feb. 3, 2026. On February 2, 2026, the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia issued an order staying the TPS Haiti termination. Miot et al. v. Trump et al., No. 25-cv-02471-ACR, D.D.C.).

Haiti has had a TPS for 16 years. There is nothing "temporary" about that.

Under the previous administration, Temporary Protected Status was abused to allow violent terrorists, criminals, and national security threats into our nation.

TPS was never designed to be permanent, yet previous administrations have used it as a de facto amnesty program for decades.

Coast Guard stops ship with illegal aliens from Haiti and takes them home

Coast Guard officials intercepted one scary boat that put Donald Trump on red alert

The Coast Guard is the last line of defense for the country’s coasts and business is picking up under the Trump administration.

Coast Guard officials intercepted one scary boat that put Donald Trump on red alert.

The southern border commands the lion’s share of the attention for illegal immigration. But Florida, with its more than 8,000 miles of coastline, is vulnerable to illegal immigration coming from the ocean.

A Coast Guard cutter stopped a 30-foot sailboat that was “overloaded” with potential illegal aliens from Haiti trying to make their way to Florida.

The sailboat carrying 132 Haitians was interdicted roughly 50 miles from the coast off of Marathon, Florida, in the Florida Keys.

Coast Guard officials turned the ship around and escorted it back to Haiti.

Illegals just keep coming thanks to Biden/Harris

Biden administration to restart immigration program that was paused over fraud concerns

Biden/Harris restarting this program although half or more of the population disagrees

Homeland Security said the program for Cubans, Haitians, Nicaraguans and Venezuelans will resume with stronger vetting, but no issues have been found with people already admitted to the U.S.

The Department of Homeland Security announced Thursday it will resume issuing travel authorization to migrants from Cuba, Haiti, Nicaragua and Venezuela who apply to come to the United States with the help of a sponsor.

The program had been paused in July after an internal report found that more than 100,000 applicants for the program were supported by just over 3,200 U.S.-based sponsors whom the report identified as “serial sponsors.” Those applications were red-flagged for potential fraud, and critics of the program said the large numbers of migrants sponsored by just a few individuals could point to human trafficking.

And who is paying for these flights? You, the American citizen of course.

A DHS official also told NBC News that sponsors must show they can financially support the number of immigrants they are sponsoring and “serial filers who do not meet these qualifications or otherwise appear to be exploiting or abusing the process will be non-confirmed.”

The official added that any sponsors who have asked for payment from immigrants to be sponsored will be referred to law enforcement for potential prosecution.

Within weeks of the program’s beginning in January 2023, concerns were raised in an Associated Press article about potential sponsors advertising online that they would be willing to sell their services as sponsors to migrants in Cuba, Haiti, Nicaragua and Venezuela.

Fraud prevails in just about anything involving Democrats.

We know about their "vetting"--it doesn't exist. More than 330,000 Venezuelans crossed the U.S. border last year, according to Customs and Border Protection data, and Venezuela, like Cuba, China and a handful of other countries, doesn’t provide any criminal history information to U.S. officials.

So, Biden/Harris is flying them in and going around border control. There is no vetting from these countries, and some won't even help us on criminal backgrounds. And we're having problems with Venezuelan gangs.

As former Border Patrol agent Ammon Blair told NBC News, unless agents get a Venezuelan migrant’s criminal history from Interpol or “they already have a criminal record inside the United States, we won’t know who they are.”

The NYPD calls them “ghost criminals,” with little to identify them except gang tattoos.

Haiti, the Sh!t-hole

Corpses rotting in the streets, gangs ruling by terror

Even the police teaming up with vigilantes

As shocking video footage of the incident confirmed, one of them — the gang's leader, known as Makandal — had already had his hands hacked off.

Excited children mingled with men brandishing machetes in the large crowd that accompanied the grim procession, as people chanted 'Viv la polis!', or 'Long live the police!' The bodies of the two men were set on fire minutes later to cries of 'Ole, ole, ole!' from bystanders.

Police, desperately out-gunned and under-manned, are openly colluding with the vigilantes. They have reportedly taken on the gangs together in joint operations in which the so-called 'self-defense brigades' are sometimes armed only with machetes, hammers and even just their bare hands.

Biden not keeping our coutnry and citizens safe.

Jim Jordan asked one tough question that left Alejandro Mayorkas trembling in fear

That's the headline but I don't think Mayorkas fears anything!

The Biden administration was rocked by another tragedy caused by open borders.

And Jim Jordan asked one tough question of Alejandro Mayorkas...why was this illegal allowed into our country.

A Haitian citizen was arrested for a heinous crime in Massachusetts after President Joe Biden allowed him to fly into the country and gave him legal status.

Cory Alvarez, a 26-year-old from Haiti, was arrested in Rockland, Massachusetts, for allegedly raping a 15-year-old disabled girl at a hotel used by the state to house illegal aliens.

Jordan asked for information on Alvarez’s immigration history, including “the time, date, and place of any and all of the alien’s entries into the United States.”

The letter asked “whether CBP (Customs and Border Protection) officials were alerted to derogatory information about the alien and what questions were asked of the alien during the screening process.”

Biden top administrators are protected...Jordan will never get answers.

Democrat Gov. Maura Healy’s response to such a horrendous crime? ”It's unfortunate that...we have security, and systems in place, we have vetting in place. It is unfortunate that from time to time, things will happen."

DeSantis one step ahead of Biden

Florida is stepping up to help Americans and secure its border while the Biden administration is missing in action once again.

The political upheaval and growing violence in Haiti have the Caribbean nation on the brink of a civil war. Warring gangs are battling for control of the country and have captured more than 80% of the capital of Port-au-Prince.

Both of the country’s international airports are shut down, and the Dominican Republic closed its borders to Haiti leaving Americans trapped in the country.

Joe Biden leaves Americans behind once again!

This is the third instance where President Joe Biden has left Americans stranded in a war-torn country after the disastrous 2021 Afghanistan withdrawal and the October 7 terrorist attack by Hamas in Israel.

The State Department told Americans stuck in Haiti to sign up for a notification system and wait to be alerted.

Sex trafficking, slaves, and cannibalism

Jimmy ‘Barbecue’ Cherizier, a former Haiti cop turned gang boss

Haitian Cannibals Are Making Their Way Across Open US Southern Border

Hey, Democrats, what do you think?

Haiti, a Caribbean country, has plunged into chaos due to gang warfare.

Gangs attacked airports, police stations and prisons. Thousands of jail inmates have fled too.

Jimmy Cherizier, popular as ‘Barbecue’, is the leader of the notorious ‘G9 and Family’ gang and is now the most powerful man in Haiti, reports the New York Post.

It is said that Cherizier began being called ‘Barbecue’ because of his penchant of burning people alive. NBC News published a report about cannibal gangs in Haiti by condemning conservatives on X who said there were cannibal gangs in Haiti, and that some members could be making their way to the U.S.

Yes, really.

Following their takeover of the country last week, reports emerged of some gang members eating the flesh of their dead victims as an intimidation tactic.

Both the Pentagon and U.S. Border Patrol is now warning of a fresh wave of Haitian migrants attempting to enter the United States, meaning some of those gang members will inevitably end up in America.

Today, Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis laid out his administration’s plans for how the state is preparing for the possible influx of illegal migrants fleeing mass violence and total collapse in Haiti.

“Given the situation that is happening in Haiti — some brutal reports that are happening — we want to make sure that we are protecting Floridians,” DeSantis said Friday.

DeSantis warned that any person who gets on a boat and tries to come to the U.S. through Florida from Haiti will be intercepted and deported back to their country. He has urged those who plan on attempting this to avoid taking these steps, especially since it is a hazardous feat.

Haiti taken over by Criminals

HAITI CHAOS: President Flees the Country — US Embassy Staff Evacuated — Biden Mulls Sending Troops

The U.S. Embassy in Haiti is evacuating some of its personnel from the nation’s capital as rampant gang violence intensifies.

“Heightened gang violence in the neighborhood near U.S. embassy compounds and near the airport led to the State Department’s decision to arrange for the departure of additional embassy personnel,” the U.S.’s embassy, based in Port-au-Prince, said in a statement on Sunday. The embassy remains open.

The U.S. State Department is requesting that the Marine Corps deploy a security team to Haiti to help quell gang violence that is erupting across the nation’s capital, Port Au Prince, according to a defense official who spoke to the Marine Times military newspaper.

As the violence and chaos continues, the U.S. Embassy in Haiti advised all Americans to leave, and warned that it was not able to help them find private charter jet flights amid its reduction in operations.

“We have no higher priority than the safety and security of U.S. citizens overseas,” a U.S. State Dept. spokesperson told Fox News Digital it was a priority to get Americans home safely.

Yeah, right...we saw that in Afghanistan.

30,000 illegals a month for two years from four countries

Biden Administration Announces Effort to Secure Border, Expand Parole Program

Yesterday, President Joe Biden announced steps that would improve border security and help slow illegal immigration while helping migrants obtain legal status in the United States.

The administration is expanding a parole program that was restricted to Venezuelans to would-be immigrants from three other countries. People from Cuba, Nicaragua, and Haiti are now eligible to apply for legal status for two years, provided they find a sponsor inside the United States and pass a background check.

Under U.S. immigration law, the secretary of homeland security may grant parole to individuals who’d otherwise be illegal in the United States. The program, launched in October 2022, leveraged that power to thousands of Venezuelans.

Up to 30,000 people per month from the four countries who are paroled can come to the United States for two years and be allowed to work. They’re required to legally enter the United States and aren’t permitted to go to Mexico or Panama without authorization while their application is weighed.

Haiti--It's always been a mess

U.S. & Mexico Prepared To Step In During Haitian Humanitarian Crisis

aka--"sh!thole country

"Officials within both the U.S. and Mexico have expressed to the United Nations that they are ready and willing to step in to assist with the massively dire humanitarian crisis afflicting Haiti due to civil unrest being pushed further due to widespread famine, gang violence, and an outbreak of cholera.

Representatives from the United States and Mexico put forth a pair of resolutions as part of a special session of the U.N. Security Council which would put in place a set of financial sanctions against criminal actors and officially allow “a limited carefully-scoped non-UN mission led by a partner country with the deep, necessary experience.”

The head of the United Nations has called for “armed action” in Haiti, warning that residents face a “nightmarish” situation, especially in the capital, Port-au-Prince.

UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres said on Monday that he believed such action was necessary to ease the grip gangs have on a port that is critical to allowing fuel supplies into the country."

The agreement between the U.S. government, through the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID), and the Government of Haiti has received more than $1.8 billion since 2011.

The UN Security Council has split over sending an international force to Haiti to help with deteriorating security and until they are in agreement and send forces into the country, we will continue to send millions in fruitless aid as the gangs are winning. Sanctions have been suggested but this is not a solution.

This reminds me of our border with the drug cartels who control it. Biden ignores our sovereignty; stopped the wall; cut funds for border control but gives aid to Haiti. The Haitian government is unable to govern and the Biden administration falls into the same category.

Helping Haiti

U.S. to help Haiti with gang violence crisis

'We need them to come over to help us,' said one Haitian

LAKE WORTH BEACH, Fla. — Calls for help have led the United States to send a delegation to Haiti to help with the overwhelming gang violence that has taken over the island nation.

“They always send to kill people, to kidnap people and then to take everything from the people,” said Orestal Michel, a Lake Worth resident who has family in Haiti. “We need them to come over to help us because the gangs, we cannot stop them.”

The U.S. is deploying the Coast Guard to patrol the waters of Haiti and also a visa restriction is blocking those connected to gang violence.

Orestal, can you also ask our government to send troops to our southern border to stop the influx of thousands of illegals crossing every day involved in drugs, human trafficking and crimes.

Biden and his Haiti opinion

Biden's 1994 Haiti Comments Resurface - 'Wouldn't Matter a Whole Lot'

"The internet has a funny way of bringing things back around to our attention, years and even decades later. Sometimes that can be a good thing. However, for people like President Joe Biden, it's usually not.

The comments he made about Haiti not mattering to the United States in 1994 have resurfaced, which is convenient given the recent assassination of the Haitian president...isn't it?" [thinkamericana]

Man arrested in Haiti assassination worked at Lantana assisted-living center

James Solages was the former maintenance director for the Carlisle Palm Beach assisted-living facility until he resigned in April.

"A South Florida man arrested this week in connection to the assassination of Haiti's president is a former employee of a Lantana-area assisted living facility, the facility's executive director confirmed Friday.

James J. Solages was the plant operations director for the Carlisle Palm Beach for two years until his resignation in April, said Richard Tournesy, its executive director."

And for a little bit of trivia, former Lake Worth mayor, Tom Ramiccio, worked for The Carlisle Palm Beach and even joined the Greater Lantana Chamber of Commerce back in 2012. I wonder if he ever knew James Solages.

Al Jacquet arrested in Haiti

Police: Former Florida Lawmaker Arrested In Haiti On Weapons Charge

A Florida lawmaker who was disciplined after using a gay slur against a political rival, Omari Hardy, and who lost re-election earlier this year, is in custody in Haiti on a weapons charge. Circumstances of his arrest were a mystery.

Everyone remembers Mr. Jacquet who was involved with his buddy Mack Bernard in helping voters to fill out their ballots in the 2016 election and submission of same. ~ Mack Bernard
Mayor of Palm Beach County

Now that you have brought our president into it Mr. Bernard, you will be fair game from now on.

Consider the following situation that Haiti is in according to Google:
  • Haiti is the third hungriest country in the world after Somalia and Afghanistan
  • The richest 1% of the population controls nearly half of all of Haiti’s wealth
  • The poorest country in the western hemisphere
  • One of the poorest countries in the world
  • Ranks 149 out of 182 on the United Nations Human Development Index
  • Has a healthy life expectancy of 55 years for women and 53 years for men
  • Adult literacy is about 62%
  • 78% of Haitians live on less than $2 US per day.
