Lawsuit: Two county commissioners pressured builder into making political contribution

"Palm Beach County Commissioner Mack Bernard pressured a contractor to support last year’s affordable housing bond issue, according to a lawsuit filed by a Greenacres builder, Robling Architecture Construction Inc.

The claim, which county attorneys are "vigorously" opposing, is drawn from new evidence Robling claims it obtained as part of a lawsuit it filed in June against the county after it failed to win a multi-million dollar contract overseeing the construction of new fire stations.

By a 4-3 vote on March 22, 2022, commissioners awarded the work to Core Construction Services of Florida, despite the county purchasing agent's finding that Robling should have been awarded the deal. The agent said Core was improperly given points for having a presence in Palm Beach County.

Based on emails obtained from Core, Robling’s lawyers are seeking to add Bernard and former Commissioner Dave Kerner as defendants.  Bernard’s aide pressured Core to make a sizable contribution to the Hometown Housing Trust, a nonprofit created to support the passage of a bond referendum to build affordable and workforce housing in Palm Beach County

The lawsuit also alleges that the emails show there were meetings between Core and Bernard and Kerner and that the two men engaged in activities that exceeded “the scope of their official capacities as county commissioners and acted in bad faith, willfully and wantonly and in disregard for Robling’s constitutional rights.”

Democrat Indicted on 82 Counts Over Election Theft⚠️

Democratic County Supervisor, Trey Adkins, has been arrested and is facing 82 charges, mostly involving voter fraud. The charges he is facing consist of 34 counts of false statement – election fraud, 11 counts of absentee voting procedure violations, 11 counts of forgery of a public record, 3 counts of conspiracy to make a false statement.

He is a county supervisor in Virginia accused of dozens of counts of voter fraud in a case in which prosecutors allege he showed up at the homes of voters, with absentee ballot applications and ballots, to ensure he would have their vote.

According to WJHL a grand jury indicted Knox District Supervisor for Buchanan County Trey Adkins on 82 felony charges.

National File reported the grand jury alleged “Adkins has relied on an illegal absentee vote harvesting scheme since he was first elected to public office in 2011, repeating the process in his 2015 and 2019 bids for re-election.”

Ballot harvesting has happened all over our country...many articles on it and the voter fraud that has occurred. Governor Ron DeSantis signed into law Senate Bill 90, Florida’s new election integrity bill, strengthening voter identification, prohibiting the mass mailing of ballots, banning ballot harvesting and prohibiting private money from administering elections in our state.

The law makes it a first-degree misdemeanor to possess or deliver more than two mail-in ballots per election, other than a voter’s own ballot and the ballots of “immediate” family members.

Everyone remembers Al Jacquet who was involved with his buddy Mack Bernard in helping voters to fill out their ballots in the 2016 election and submission of same. Mack Bernard is still a Palm Beach County Commissioner.

Arizona Democrat Sentenced to 30 Days in Jail for Ballot Harvesting

An Arizona Democrat has been sentenced to 30 days in jail because of her involvement in a local ballot harvesting scheme during a 2020 municipal election.

Guillermina Fuentes, a 66-year-old school board member and former mayor of the border town of San Luis, was ordered Thursday to turn herself in to the Yuma County Jail, according to the office of Arizona Attorney General Mark Brnovich. She was also placed on two years of probation.

Police: Former Florida Lawmaker Arrested In Haiti On Weapons Charge

A Florida lawmaker who was disciplined after using a gay slur against a political rival, Omari Hardy, and who lost re-election earlier this year, is in custody in Haiti on a weapons charge. Circumstances of his arrest were a mystery.

Everyone remembers Mr. Jacquet who was involved with his buddy Mack Bernard in helping voters to fill out their ballots in the 2016 election and submission of same. Florida prohibits Ballot harvesting--anyone other than a voter, a caregiver, or a member of the voter’s family or household” to deliver the absentee ballots to election officials.

Mack Bernard was reelected to the Palm Beach County Commission but Jacquet was defeated by Hardy.

As the media, Democrats and even some Republicans have been ridiculing Sidney Powell for pursing the rigged election, she says she has evidence of people ballot harvesting.

Ballot harvesting has been prevalent in the presidential election. Even Project Veritas has exposed it and top Democrats have participated in it.

Even here in Palm Beach County not that long ago, Commissioner Mack Bernard and then Rep. Al Jacquet, both Democrats, were exposed for knocking on voters doors and helping them fill out their ballots and then offering to mail them in for them--ballot harvesting--and nothing happened to them.

Why is it ALWAYS Democrats who do the dirty?

Democratic Philly Elections Judge Pleads Guilty to Stuffing Ballot Boxes for Bribes

Democrats are always saying Trump is in fantasy land when he talks about voter fraud.

Domenick J. DeMuro, a former judge of elections and Democratic committeeman in Philadelphia, took thousands of dollars from a political consultant to cast fraudulent ballots and certify phony returns, according to the indictment. Think of all the similar situation/cases across the country where people have not been caught.

Commissioner Mack Bernard and Rep. Al Jacquet, both Democrats, were exposed for knocking on voters doors and helping them fill out their ballots and then offering to mail it in for them--ballot harvesting--and nothing happened to them.

Rep. Emily Slosberg’s proposed vote-by-mail reform amendment:
“Any candidate, person acting on behalf of a candidate, or member of a political committee, group, or organization who is present in the residence of an elector while he or she marks or designates a choice on the ballot for the purpose of intimidating the elector or soliciting the elector’s vote is guilty of a felony of the third degree.”

What The Palm Beach Post reported:
Two Democrats, Mack Bernard and Al Jacquet, took advantage of gaping holes in Florida’s vote-by-mail laws to pressure and cajole voters in their living rooms. In one case, a blind voter said Bernard filled out and signed his ballot. High numbers of absentee votes propelled both candidates to victory.

Possible Voter Fraud in Palm Beach County?

Happening in the corruption county of the country? You have to be kidding, right?

I think Mack Bernard is trying to ensure that all those who cast a vote by absentee that their signatures haven't changed to what is on file. He lost by 17 votes to Jeff Clemens the last time around when 40 votes cast for him were tossed out because the signatures did not match. Signatures change all of the time.

DEMOCRAT MACK BERNARD HAS FILED TO RUN FOR COUNTY COMMISSION

Former State Representative Democrat Mack Bernard has filed to run for the Palm Beach County Commission, District 7. District 7 is an open seat. Current County Commissioner Priscilla Taylor is not seeking re-election. District 7 runs from Lake Park in the north to Delray Beach in the South. The district is 60.23% Democrat, 14.86% Republican and 24.91% other registrations.

Bernard’s experience as an attorney, small business owner and former elected official make him uniquely qualified for the county commission. Bernard served on the Delray Beach City Commission from 2008 until 2009. In 2009, Bernard won a special election to the Florida House of Representatives and served through 2012. Last year, Bernard was appointed to serve on the Florida Elections Commission.

As a lawmaker, Bernard served on the Health and Human Services Committee; the Military and Local Affairs Policy Committee; the Public Safety and Domestic Security Policy Committee; the Insurance and Banking Subcommittee; the Transportation and Economic Development Appropriations Subcommittee and the Civil Justice Subcommittee. Mack will bring that experience to the county commission.

As State Representative, Bernard worked tirelessly to obtain funding for the Palm Beach County Black Business Investment Corporation (BBIC), a not-for-profit organization formed to expand the participation of black business enterprises.

In 2012, Bernard received a personal letter of thanks from Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu for his work with the Jewish Federation of Palm Beach County to pass HB 613 which prohibited Florida financial institutions from doing business with foreign financial institutions that do business with Iran.

Bernard obtained a Bachelor of Science Degree, Cum Laude, in Political Science and Criminal Justice from Florida State University, a Law Degree, with Honors, from the University of Florida and a Master of Laws (LL.M.) in Taxation also from the University of Florida.

Bernard is a member of the Florida Bar Association and is admitted to practice in the U.S. District Court, Middle and Southern Districts of Florida and the United States Tax Court.

Bernard has also been active in the community. Bernard currently serves as Board Chair of the Toussaint L’Ouverture High School for Arts and Social Justice. Bernard also serves as a Board Member for the Color of Hope Foundation and the Marie Louise Cancer Foundation.

Bernard is a former member of the Palm Beach County Caucus of Black Elected Officials and served as President in 2011, First Vice President in 2010 and Second Vice President in 2009. Jeff Clemens is getting some buzz

Oh no--you've got to be kidding!!

We always knew when Jeff Clemens was on the CRA and spent $15 million on the Gateways, a loan balance still open, that Clemens had aspirations to bigger and greater political positions.

But now, Jeff Clemens is also generating buzz as a possible CFO candidate for the State of Florida. Clemens, age 43, is moving up in the tax and spend Democratic Party. After serving as mayor of Lake Worth, Clemens, worked in energy conservation and contracting, ran for the Florida House when Mary Brandenburg faced term limits in 2010. Clemens scored a solid victory over Peter Brandenburg, Mary’s husband, in the Democratic primary but very soon he turned his eyes to running for the Senate. His political career almost ended during that election where he beat Mack Bernard by only 17 points in the primary.

Clemens attended Michigan State University, and graduated in 1992 with a degree in journalism, NOT finance, not business, not accounting. Chief Financial Officers (CFOs) are vital to the long-term success of public and private organizations and Florida is home to 19.32 million people. Being a CFO, one must have advanced knowledge of complex corporate finances – from investments, to risk management, to mergers and acquisitions.

Florida's budget for last year was $69,975,817,005. The Tax Foundation research organization ranks Florida among the lowest tax states (Florida ranks #5 among the 50 states in 2013; only four states have a lower tax burden). State Sales Tax - 6%; Corporate Tax - 5.5%; State Income Tax - None.

Mack Bernard did it--he sued, along with Addie Greene, and Phillippe Louis Jeune, a leader in the Haitian community, alleging that 40 absentee ballots were not counted in his election against Jeff Clemens. Also, 9 voters' ballots were discarded because the poll worker failed to indicate their Party affiliation.

27 affidavits were provided by Bernard and more are being collected from people who did cast their vote and swearing that they are who they say they are.

Bernard appears to have a good case to overthrow this election and become the winner of District 27.

I simply object to Addie Greene making this into a "race" issue and her saying that African-American voters have been disenfranchised. Get over it.

Back on March 27, 2007, Jeff Clemens beat Marc Drautz by 149 votes getting 52.04% of the vote to become Mayor of Lake Worth. He was in office two years and 8 months, bringing us billboard blight for 20 years as well as the Mentoring Center that escalated our illegal immigration problem. Lake Worth voters approved going to November elections that won by 260 votes or 53.66% of the ballots cast. He won the race for District 27 by 50.03498%.

"Bernard, who stood stoically among his supporters, did not concede and said his team would analyze the results before deciding whether to challenge the recount in court. The final tally showed Clemens with 12,157 votes and Bernard with 12,140." Read more...
