Newsom brings his hate of Trump to the World Economic Forum

White House rebukes Gov. Newsom over Davos remarks on Trump

Newscum bashes America's President on World Stage

California Gov. Gavin Newsom found himself in the crosshairs of the White House after taking sharp jabs at President Donald Trump during a high-profile appearance at the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland.

The White House issued an exclusive statement to The Post on Tuesday, urging Newsom to focus on repairing his own state's challenges instead of criticizing the president on an international stage, while Trump himself expressed disappointment over the state's management during a press conference marking one year of his second term.

The clash has ignited a firestorm of debate over whether a state governor should be engaging in foreign policy critiques while huge economic/domestic issues linger unresolved at his home state.

Greenland a National Security Priority

Strategic Value in acquiring Greenland

Not only for the United States but the world

At the Economic Forum, Trump emphasized that point bluntly, describing Greenland as “a large piece of ice in the middle of the ocean,” but warning of its strategic value “if there is a war” with Russia or China.

“Much of the action will take place on that piece of the ice. Think of it, those missiles would be flying right over the center of that piece of ice. That’s all we want from Denmark. For national and international security, and to keep our very energetic and dangerous potential enemies at bay, is this land on which we’re going to build the greatest golden dome ever built,” Trump said.

Trump also criticized Denmark for what he described as a lack of meaningful presence and investment in Greenland’s defense—remarks that align with longstanding Republican calls for NATO burden-sharing and for European allies to meet their commitments rather than relying on American taxpayers.

Moments earlier, Trump said the U.S. is uniquely capable of defending and developing the territory.

“It’s the US alone that can protect this giant mass of land, this giant piece of ice, develop it and improve it,” he said, adding there was “no sign” of Denmark on the island and accusing Copenhagen of underspending on defense.

WEF a degenerate organization led by hypocrites?

The WEF is undergoing a great reset

Just not the kind the Davos founder envisioned

Klaus Schwab's days as chairman are numbered at the World Economic Forum, the technocratic globalist organization he founded in 1971 that hosts an annual conference of supposed elites in Davos, Switzerland.

Schwab told the WEF's board of trustees and staff in a letter on Tuesday seen by the Financial Times that he was beginning a year-long process of stepping down, having already stepped down as the organization's executive chairman last May.

The shake-up in Davos comes between the American-led unrealization of Schwab's proposed "great reset" of capitalism and in the wake of a probe into allegations of discrimination at the WEF.

The Wall Street Journal published a damning report claiming — on the basis of internal complaints, email exchanges, and interviews with current and past WEF employees — that "under Schwab's decades-long oversight, the forum has allowed to fester an atmosphere hostile to women and black people in its own workplace."

The report noted that at least six female employees were allegedly "pushed out or otherwise saw their careers suffer" when pregnant or coming back from maternity leave. Other women claimed that senior managers had sexually harassed them.

I guess no one really knows Schwab's net worth but it is estimated to be between $11 million and $25 million, although some sources suggest it could be as high as $1.7 billion. His wealth primarily comes from his role as the founder and executive chairman of the World Economic Forum. He's 87 years old so it might be time for him to slow down.

Quote of the Day - President Trump

“Last time I went to Davos, the Fake News said I should not go there.” This year, because of the Shutdown, I decided not to go, and the Fake News said I should be there. The fact is that the people understand the media better than the media understands them!”

~ President Trump

In the meantime, John Kerry is there trashing the president...the clueless gaffe-prone buffoon who at one time tried to become president and failed.

President Trump to attend the World Economic Forum

President Trump plans on going to Davos, Switzerland to attend the World Economic Forum on January 22-25, 2019.

"Davos Man" is a neologism referring to the global elite of wealthy (predominantly) men, whose members view themselves as completely "international."  [Wikipedia]

"Globalization is a phenomenon driven by technology and the movement of ideas, people, and goods. Globalism is an ideology that prioritizes the neoliberal global order over national interests. Nobody can deny that we are living in a globalized world. But whether all of our policies should be “globalist” is highly debatable," says the World Economic Forum's web page.

Sarah Huckabee Sanders said that the president was looking forward to attending the gathering of world leaders and business executives.
“The President welcomes opportunities to advance his America First agenda with world leaders,” Ms. Sanders said. “At this year’s World Economic Forum, the president looks forward to promoting his policies to strengthen American businesses, American industries and American workers.”

Whereas the World Economic forum is "committed to improving the State of the World," President Trump's presence should be an interesting encounter for all the elites who will be attending considering President Trump's attitude of Draining the Swamp and America First.
