Leo Terrell at Club 47

Leo Terrell is a former Democrat and Fox News contributor that now serves as the Department of Justice senior counsel in the civil rights division. He is the figure behind the Trump administration’s efforts to target 10 academic institutions across the country over claims of antisemitism.

Terrell was tapped in January by President Donald Trump to serve as senior counsel to Harmeet K. Dhillon, the assistant attorney general for civil rights in the Justice Department.

Terrell has since become an outspoken voice in the administration, heading up the department’s Task Force to Combat Anti-Semitism. That task force has led the charge against academic institutions that the administration claims are enabling antisemitism.

“Leo is a highly respected civil rights attorney and political analyst,” President Trump said of him in January, 2025. “Leo will be a fantastic advocate for the American People, and ensure we will, MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN!”

The Irony Is Almost Too Perfect

DOJ Targets Letitia James — The Hunter Becomes the Hunted

For years, New York Attorney General Letitia James strutted around promising to “get Trump” like it was her personal mission from God. She ran for office on that platform. She beamed about it in interviews. And she delivered — sort of — with that 2023 civil fraud case that slapped Trump with a $350 million judgment.

But now? The same Justice Department she accused of being “politicized” when it dared to investigate Democrats is dropping subpoenas on her desk like overdue bills.

Jim Trusty — a former Trump attorney and DOJ prosecutor — summed it up best: “You reap what you sow.” James’ gleeful “find the man, then find the crime” strategy may have played well to Manhattan cocktail parties, but it’s a legal landmine when you’re the one holding the shovel.

Now federal prosecutors want to know if she deprived Trump — and by extension, his voters — of their civil rights by targeting him for political reasons. You know, the exact accusation Democrats love to hurl at Republicans.

Fighting leftist bias at America’s top schools

Trump’s civil rights attorney just dropped a bombshell that has Ivy Leagues trembling

Harmeet Dhillon, the fierce constitutional lawyer chosen by President Donald Trump to lead the Department of Justice’s civil rights division, isn’t wasting any time taking the fight directly to America’s most prestigious universities.

In a significant development for higher education, Dhillon announced her office has sent demand letters to the top 50 higher education institutions in America. “We’re demanding data from them,” Dhillon stated.

The Trump appointee made clear what she’s found – elite universities still employing discriminatory practices despite Supreme Court rulings against them.

“Whenever an institution, any institution, takes a grant from the federal government, they pledge to follow the law,” Dhillon explained.

She then made her position clear: “Ultimately following the law is a requirement of getting federal funding, and they’re simply not following the law.”

Harmeet Dhillon, is poised to demolish corporate DEI policies

Trump’s secret weapon headed to Civil Rights Division

Marc Andreessen, co-founder of Netscape, reveals how Trump’s DOJ appointee, famous attorney Harmeet K. Dhillon, is all set to destroy modern corporate diversity bias. Harmeet is a fierce critic of woke corporate culture, and will soon head up the Justice Department’s Civil Rights Division.

Dhillon is an Indian-American lawyer, political figure, and founder of the Dhillon Law Group, known for her conservative legal activism. Born in Chandigarh, India, a Sikh, she moved to the U.S. as a child.

Dhillon has been a prominent member of the Republican Party, serving as a National Committeewoman from California and running unsuccessfully for RNC chair in 2023. She has represented clients like Tucker Carlson and has engaged in high-profile election law cases.

“The Justice Department’s Civil Rights Division is the federal government’s prosecutorial arm that basically enforces wokeness. They’re the ones who have ensured that, for the last decade, these companies have had all these crazy policies under the penalty of being investigated, subpoenaed, and ultimately prosecuted.”

Biden admin, National Archives, DOJ, and FBI all colluded together in "bad faith

Trump exposed Special Counsel Smith's 'aggressive' efforts and unconstitutional acts in motions to dismiss charges and suppress evidence

Special Counsel Jack Smith abused power and violated laws in his ongoing effort to prosecute former President Donald Trump over his alleged unauthorized retention of classified documents after leaving the White House, and the National Archives similarly violated rules and Trump's rights by secretly colluding with the Biden administration to go after the former president.

Those and other claimed examples of the Justice Department's "aggressive effort to get Trump" were just revealed in lightly redacted filings submitted on Monday by Trump's defense attorneys in the South Florida federal case, according to the Washington Examiner.

The filings included a motion to suppress the evidence gathered during the FBI's August 2022 raid of Trump's Mar-a-Lago residence and a motion to dismiss altogether the criminal charges that stemmed from that unprecedented raid on a former president.

That motion laid out how the Biden administration and the purportedly independent and unbiased National Archives had unlawfully coordinated their efforts with the DOJ and FBI to violate Trump's due process rights and provisions of the Presidential Records Act.

Those violations include misleading Trump and his attorneys that disputes over records were being handled in civil proceedings when criminal proceedings were secretly underway as well as PRA requirements that former presidents be "promptly" notified about any claims or disputes regarding their retained or archived records.

Deployed Marines' cars towed and sold

Company forced to repay deployed Marines after illegally repossessing their vehicles

The Justice Department alleges the company violated the Service members Civil Relief Act

A North Carolina towing company is paying close to a $70,000 settlement after being accused of repossessing and selling vehicles that belonged to deployed U.S. Marines.

The Justice Department announced Tuesday that Billy Joe Goines, owner and operator of Goines Towing & Recovery, has reached a settlement with the government over alleged violations of the Servicemembers Civil Relief Act (SCRA) from his towing and selling vehicles without properly disclosing to the courts that they were owned by service members.

"Service members sacrifice a lot — and, in many cases, everything," Assistant Attorney General Kristen Clarke of the Justice Department’s Civil Rights Division said in a press release.

Dick Morris on Biden's Racism

Take The Offensive On Race Against Biden

By Dick Morris on December 14, 2023

Other than a soundbite from Kamala Harris in the 2020 Democratic primary debate, Joe Biden has largely been allowed to skate on his own extreme record of racism.

A Senator from the largely southern state of Delaware, Biden built his political career around two issues: His opposition to school busing to achieve integration and his support for mandatory minimum sentences for largely nonviolent drug offenses.

Now that Trump has a solid foothold among black voters — 22% in the latest poll conducted by John Jordan and me — it’s time to hammer Biden on his terrible civil rights record.
  • Biden said he asked to serve on the Judiciary Committee so that he could oppose school busing. He said, “What advocates of busing say is that in order for your child with curly back hair, brown eyes and dark skin to be able to learn anything, he needs to sit next to my blond-haired, blue-eyed son.” “Who the hell do we think we are,” he continued, “that the only way a black man or woman can learn is if they rub shoulders with my white child?”
  •  In 1979, Biden was one of 54 Senators to vote to allow racially segregated private schools — so called “white flight” academies — to keep their tax-exempt status.
  • In 1977, Biden said that forced busing to desegregate schools would cause his children to “grow up in a racial jungle.'” He said, “Unless we do something about this, my children are going to grow in a racial jungle with tensions having built to a point where the will explode.”
  • Biden said black youth were “predators. and who need to be [taken] out of society.” Trump, of course, signed the First Step Act to free these kids from prison.
  • Biden said a lot of black illiteracy is because “their parents can’t read or write themselves.”
  • In 2007 Biden praised Obama as “the first mainstream African American who is articulate and bright and clean.”
  • In 2006, Biden said, “You cannot go into a 7-eleven or a Dunkin’ Donuts unless you have a slight Indian accent.”
  • In 2010 he warmly eulogized Sen. Robert Byrd, a former Exalted Cyclops in the Klu Klux Klan, saying he was “one of my mentors” and that “the Senate is a lesser place for his going.”

Amendment 4 (Felon Voting Rights) back in the News

Felon voting rights fight flares up again

The Florida Rights Restoration Coalition has filed a lawsuit alleging that the state’s handling of the 2018 voter-approved Amendment 4 is preventing and intimidating eligible voters.

The amendment, designed to restore voting rights to people with completed felony convictions, excluding those of murder or felony sexual offenses, is being improperly implemented, according to the coalition. The defendants named include Gov. Ron DeSantis and other state officials.

The amendment received approval with a 64.55% majority. I remember the day that I signed the petition to get it on the ballot. Jo-Ann Golden was in the Cultural Plaza and asked me to sign...I did. It seemed only fair if a felon completed his sentence he should be allowed to vote. When it came time to vote on it and having time to think about it, I voted against. Jo-Ann, who spent her life fighting for human rights, civil rights for the LGBTQ community, environmental and economic justice, passed away in 2019. She was a fine soul.

After it passed, Gov. DeSantis signed Senate Bill 7066 in 2019, requiring felons to pay all restitution, fines, fees, or costs resulting from their conviction before voting rights could be restored. This is a fair law as that would be completion of their sentence but liberals are fighting this...they always fight about everything.

The Centration of Power in the hands of so few does not tend toward sound government.

Supreme Court’s Gorsuch Blasts ‘Breathtaking’ Pandemic Decrees

US Supreme Court Justice Neil Gorsuch blasted the “breathtaking scale” of emergency decrees issued by state and federal officials during the pandemic, calling them a historic threat to freedom.

In an eight-page statement that accompanied a routine order, Gorsuch decried lockdowns, school and church closures and vaccine requirements, casting them as fear-induced overreactions that could drive a slide toward autocracy.

“Since March 2020, we may have experienced the greatest intrusions on civil liberties in the peacetime history of this country,” he wrote.

Lake Worth paying Panhandlers $75,000 to settle lawsuit

Panhandlers alledge their Civil Rights were infringed

So what now? We have beggars all over the city? Another clever liberal lawyer enters the fray

AGENDA DATE: February 7, 2023 DEPARTMENT: City Attorney TITLE: Proposed settlement of Civil Rights lawsuit with Craig Kersh, Roy Kersh, Michael Fields, and J.R. Soares

SUMMARY:
This is a request to settle a Civil Rights lawsuit filed by Craig Kersh, Roy Kersh, Michael Fields, and J.R. Soares in the USDC Southern District of Florida, Case No. 9:22-cv-80951, on June 29, 2022, for alleged violation of their First Amendment Rights. If approved, a general release will be executed in favor of the city.

BACKGROUND AND JUSTIFICATION: On June 29, 2022, the City was sued by Craig Kersh, Roy Kersh, Michael Fields, and J.R. Soares, in USDC Southern District of Florida, Case No. 9:22-cv-80951. The lawsuit alleged that their First Amendment Rights were violated by being arrested multiple times for panhandling.

Both Federal and Florida Courts have consistently been striking down these types of ordinances as unconstitutional. The resolution of this case is for less than it would cost the City to continue litigating. Outside counsel (Ben Bedard) and the City Attorney (Glen Torcivia) attended mediation and recommend approving this $75,000 settlement.

The settlement payment(s) fall within your deductible/ self-insured retention and will be issued by our office. As the settlement and costs currently are not in excess of your $100k retention, the insurance portion of your policy will not be applied.

MOTION:
Move to approve/disapprove settlement with Craig Kersh, Roy Kersh, Michael Fields, and J.R. Soares for $75,000 (inclusive of attorney’s fees and costs).

Our Judicial System is Political

Appeals court rules against transgender man in bathroom case in Florida

A federal appeals court has ruled that a Florida school district’s policy of separating school bathrooms based on biological sex is constitutional.

The 11th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals announced its 7-4 decision on Friday, ruling that the St. Johns County School Board did not discriminate against transgender students based on sex, or violate federal civil rights law by requiring transgender students to use gender-neutral bathrooms or bathrooms matching their biological sex.

The court’s decision was split down party lines, with seven justices appointed by Republican presidents siding with the school district and four justices appointed by Democratic presidents siding with Drew Adams, a former student who sued the district in 2017 because he wasn’t allowed to use the boys restroom.

It's so sad that our judicial system has been invaded by politics. This is a common sense decision but four on the Appellate Court voted against. Incredible.

Biden Administration being Sued

Biden Admin Getting Sued for Instructing Social Media Companies to Censor Opposing Views

It appears the White House might have been dabbling in some fascistic activity, according to a new lawsuit.

The New Civil Liberties Alliance (NCLA), a nonpartisan, nonprofit civil rights group and a group that fights against the erosion of Americans' basic constitutional rights, is suing the Biden administration for instructing social media companies to suppress views and information on the COVID-19 pandemic that is not Democrat-approved.

I believe that Facebook did this as everyone who used that social media were very careful not to ever mention Covid, as the algorithims would pick up on it and your account would be restricted. Facebook loves to restrict anyone against the present administration.

But, if the Biden Administration did this with Covid, what has prevented them from doing it with any other policy where conservatives challenge their policies

Biden's Vehicle KILL switch

Biden's Infrastructure Bill, Now Signed Into Law, Mandates "Vehicle Kill Switches" By 2026

The United States federal government is apparently in the process of trying to force automakers to install kill switches in their vehicles that authorities can use to shut down any newer vehicle.

The law comes as part of President Biden's infrastructure bill, which was recently signed into law, according to Yahoo. The government kill switch is - like all good thefts of civil liberties - being positioned as a "safety measure". The mandate needs to be put into effect by 2026, Muscle Cars & Trucks reported.

Which, of course, is code for some kind of device that is constantly on and monitoring your vehicle - and will likely have the power to shut down your vehicle anytime it wants.

"This is a privacy disaster in the making, and the fact that the provision made it through the Congress reveals — yet again — how little its members care about the privacy of their constituents," The Daily Caller wrote.

Craziness happening all over the World regarding Covid

Anti-Lockdown Protesters Mauled by Dogs and Beaten with Batons

The government elites have taken a health crisis and used it to manipulate and control. First, people were ordered to wear masks, covering up their ability to facially share emotions. Masks have proven minimally effective at preventing viral spread, if at all.

Mauled by dogs and beaten with batons, the protestors were being used as an example. Power and control hungry bureaucrats despise having their authority questioned. The right to peacefully push back against excessive, unnecessary orders will be beaten back.

This exercise did not happen in America but we are headed in the very same direction. It didn't in a “police state” but it happened in an otherwise free and democratic country. These types of infringements on freedom are growing all-too-common. These protestors were abused because the Netherlands government has banned protests.

Two-tiered society where the punishment for remaining unvaccinated is death?

One TV doctor just exposed the biggest lie Democrats tell Americans

Dr. Vin Gupta admitted on Joy Reid’s MSNBC show that the U.S. healthcare system should indeed move to a death panel system and that health care is not the right of every citizen, a right Democrats advocate.

Reid asked Gupta what to do about the 40 to 50 million Americans who still believe this is a free country and they can choose not to take the coronavirus vaccines.

Gupta responded that the unvaccinated deserve to die and that hospitals should allow them to perish in hallways by refusing medical treatment to the unvaccinated.

Reverse Discrimination--White Guy wins Lawsuit

Jury Awards White Male Executive $10M, Holding Employer Responsible For Discrimination

The only thing I have to say is, "It's about time."

"Every once in a while I am surprised by a decision coming out of a courtroom.

A federal jury has awarded David Duvall, a former executive with Novant Health, a North Carolina-based health care system, $10 million for his wrongful termination due to his race and gender.

In today’s culture of mandated diversity quotas and equity, this decision is unusual considering the fact that the plaintiff is a white male who claimed he was discriminated against as part of the company’s enhanced ‘diversity program."

Discrimination is against the Law

but it isn't in Biden's world!

White Man Awarded HUGE PAYOUT After Woke Company Fires Him in the Name of ‘Diversity’

One of the most ridiculous things that I think exist in this country that has been celebrated by liberals is the racism that is spreading across the corporate world.

They don’t call it racism, but that’s exactly what it is. They call it something like “diversity training” or even a “diversity program” all in the name of making the playing field even…supposedly anyway.

In reality, they are just being racist in order to try to not appear as racist.

DHS to Surveille Trump supporters

Biden’s DHS To Begin Surveilling Social Media To Identify Trump Supporters As ‘Terrorists’

To Imprison Them And Strip Voting Rights

"Using the Jan. 6 protests as a justification, the DHS wants commercial companies to assist in the identification of American dissidents so that they might be imprisoned and their voting rights taken away.

DHS agent John Cohen is spearheading a strategy to persuade private companies to violate Americans’ civil liberties in order to bolster Biden’s aspirations for a domestic police state in the United States."
