Prosecutor squeals on Big Tish
Targeting Trump
A prosecutor in New York Attorney General Letitia James’ office alleged that he was instructed to pursue President Donald Trump and several organizations linked to Trump without a credible reason for targeting them, according to an internal email first reported by the Times Union. In an email sent Aug. 28 to more than 2,000 employees in James’ office, Assistant Attorney General Daniel Wiesenfeld accused his supervisor, Investor Protection Bureau chief Shamiso Maswoswe, of directing him to “find and pursue crimes committed by specific individuals and organizations affiliated with Donald Trump,” the Union reported.
Wiesenfeld reportedly said he was instructed to “target Trump himself, Truth Social, Hewlett Packard” without what he considered a credible basis for investigating those individuals and organizations. Hewlett Packard recently acquired Juniper Networks in a deal James and other state attorneys general opposed after the Department of Justice (DOJ) approved the merger.
The email was quickly removed from the office’s servers and disappeared from employees’ inboxes, according to the Union, which cited three people familiar with the communications.
The outlet reported that James’ general counsel subsequently sent an office-wide message describing the incident as an internal matter, and the office placed Wiesenfeld on paid administrative leave.

Letitia James NY AG targeted Trump and allies
NY AG Letitia James faces accusation her office targeted Trump allies for political reasons
Haven't we suspected/known this all along?
A prosecutor in New York Attorney General Letitia James’ office says he was instructed to investigate Trump-affiliated individuals and organizations without credible cause, an allegation James’ office strongly denies.Daniel Wiesenfeld, a former Brooklyn prosecutor now with the New York Attorney General’s Investor Protection Bureau, sent a mass email accusing his own office of ordering politically motivated investigations. The email, reportedly delivered to about 2,000 staffers and later deleted, charged that he was told to “find and pursue crimes” committed by people and groups tied to former President Donald Trump, even when there was no credible reason to do so.
Wiesenfeld’s message named names. He claimed Bureau Chief Shamiso Maswoswe had directed him to target “Trump himself, Truth Social, Hewlett Packard (DOJ approved merger)... without having a credible reason for targeting the organizations and individuals.”
He went further, warning colleagues, “If you believe Trump is using the [Department of Justice] attorneys to prosecute his enemies and further his political interests, you should find it equally troubling that Tish [James] is doing exactly the same thing.”
The prosecutor’s warning was blunt: “I ask you that you not serve as Tish’s personal attorneys by targeting her political enemies. Instead, I hope (he hopes?) you choose to prosecute crimes and find the individuals accountable, rather than targeting individuals and then finding crimes.”

Michael Cohen said he was pressured to testify against Trump
Cohen Accuses James, Bragg of Pressuring Testimony Against Trump
Michael Cohen, once a legal confidant to Donald Trump, has made serious allegations against New York Attorney General Letitia James and Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg for pressuring him to testify against the president in high-profile legal battles. This claim, published on Jan. 16, 2026, adds a new layer to ongoing cases. It demands immediate attention.
On Friday, Cohen used a Substack post to accuse James and Bragg of coercing him to provide testimony aimed at securing convictions and judgments against President Donald Trump, the current president of the United States, in civil fraud and "hush money" cases, while Trump seeks to overturn a conviction and a $454 million fraud judgment. His words have stirred significant interest.
Representatives for James and Bragg have not yet responded.
Supporters contend that Cohen’s revelations point to a troubling pattern of politically driven prosecutions targeting President Trump. These accusations, if substantiated, could cast doubt on the integrity of New York’s legal actions. The issue has sparked intense debate over fairness in justice.
President Trump reacted swiftly on Truth Social, denouncing the New York cases as fundamentally flawed. “SET UP from the beginning,” he declared, framing the legal battles as an orchestrated effort against him.

James Comey and Letitia James win
Comey, Letitia Win
for now
A federal judge dismissed the Virginia criminal cases against former FBI Director James Comey and New York Attorney General Letitia James on Monday, finding that interim US Attorney Lindsey Halligan was improperly appointed to her position and “had no lawful authority” to secure indictments of either of President Trump’s longtime adversaries. The defeat for the administration came 11 days after attorneys for both Comey and James had argued that Halligan had to be confirmed by the Senate after Attorney General Pam Bondi used up her allotted 120-day interim appointment on Erik Siebert, who resigned Sept. 19 after Trump publicly criticized him for not bringing charges against the former head of the FBI.
After Siebert’s departure, Comey’s attorneys argued, the judges of the federal court district should have had exclusive say over who got to fill the vacancy.
Instead, Trump nominated Halligan while publicly imploring Bondi in a social media post to take action against Comey, James and Sen. Adam Schiff (D-Calif.), saying in a Sept. 20 Truth Social post that “JUSTICE MUST BE SERVED, NOW!!!”

Lindsey Graham confronts NBC Kristen Welker
Check It Out, Lindsey Graham Got It Right, For Once- Demolished NBC Talking Head
Senator Lindsey Graham delivered a blistering and righteous critique on Sunday, directly confronting the liberal media’s hypocrisy as personified by NBC’s Kristen Welker. As Welker attempted to complain about the federal prosecution of New York Attorney General Letitia James, Graham dismantled her narrative with the force of undeniable truth. He exposed the profound double standard that has defined the left’s weaponization of the justice system for years, a tactic that is finally being corrected under the strong leadership of President Donald Trump.
The context for this exchange is the damning indictment of Letitia James herself. A federal grand jury has charged the corrupt New York Attorney General with two serious crimes: Bank Fraud and False Statements to a Financial Institution. The charges stem from her dealings with a mortgage loan on a property in Norfolk, Virginia, which she fraudulently claimed would be a secondary residence.
In a stunning contradiction, James then treated the property as a rental investment, declaring the income on her taxes and completely exposing her deceitful scheme.

Letitia now has her own Federal Indictment
New York AG Letitia James Indicted on Federal Charges
James has denied wrongdoing and said she ‘will fight these baseless charges aggressively.’
New York Attorney General Letitia James has been indicted by a grand jury on federal charges, according to an indictment that was unsealed on Oct. 9.Ms James, a Democrat, was charged on Thursday with one count of bank fraud and one count of making false statements to a financial institution, in connection with a home she purchased in Norfolk, Virginia, in 2020.
The indictment, filed in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern Court of Virginia, charges James with one count of bank fraud and one count of making false statements in connection to property she owns in Norfolk, Virginia.

Prosecutors alleged that James falsely claimed that a home in Norfolk was her second residence, allowing her to obtain favorable loan terms. She rented the property to a family, an action prohibited by the loan terms, according to the indictment.
This is the same woman who indicted Donald Trump dozens of times, went after him and his entire family that went nowhere but cost rump millions in legal expenses, who ran on the platform of "Getting Trump" and was in cahoots with the liberal Judge Athur Engoron.

Trump Survives the Lawfare Blitz
Judge Engoron’s Trump Obsession Just Blew Up in His Face
The Judge Who Thought He Was Bigger Than the Constitution
Remember Judge Arthur Engoron? The robe-wearing Trump hater who gleefully slapped a half-billion-dollar fine on the 45th President?Well, he just got a legal spanking from the New York appellate court. His “$500 million hit job” wasn’t just wrong—it was unconstitutional. Turns out the Eighth Amendment still means something, even in New York. Who knew?
And the Letitia James BS is over.
For years, Democrats have tried to bury Trump under lawsuits, indictments, and fines. They called it “accountability,” but we know it was lawfare—plain and simple. And now? Their poster-boy judge has been caught overplaying his hand so badly that even other liberal judges couldn’t stomach it.
The penalty is gone. Trump? Vindicated. The Left? Humiliated.

The Irony Is Almost Too Perfect
DOJ Targets Letitia James — The Hunter Becomes the Hunted
For years, New York Attorney General Letitia James strutted around promising to “get Trump” like it was her personal mission from God. She ran for office on that platform. She beamed about it in interviews. And she delivered — sort of — with that 2023 civil fraud case that slapped Trump with a $350 million judgment. But now? The same Justice Department she accused of being “politicized” when it dared to investigate Democrats is dropping subpoenas on her desk like overdue bills.
Jim Trusty — a former Trump attorney and DOJ prosecutor — summed it up best: “You reap what you sow.” James’ gleeful “find the man, then find the crime” strategy may have played well to Manhattan cocktail parties, but it’s a legal landmine when you’re the one holding the shovel.
Now federal prosecutors want to know if she deprived Trump — and by extension, his voters — of their civil rights by targeting him for political reasons. You know, the exact accusation Democrats love to hurl at Republicans.

X sues Letitia James
Elon Musk Reportedly Targets Letitia James In Free Speech Showdown
Elon Musk’s social media company X Corp reportedly sued New York Attorney General Letitia James in Manhattan federal court on Tuesday, saying the state’s “Stop Hiding Hate” law tramples the First Amendment by forcing platforms to reveal how they police user speech. The law, modeled after a now-revised California measure, requires large social networks to publish their content moderation rules and file twice-yearly reports to the attorney general detailing “hate speech” removals, “disinformation” takedowns and other enforcement actions.
X argues the disclosures mandate mirrors the California law a federal appeals court partially blocked last year, according to Reuters.

Serious allegations against top New York prosecutor, Letitia James
Trump administration sends criminal referral against NY AG Letitia James over mortgage fraud claims
A stunning development unfolds as President Donald Trump's administration levels serious allegations against New York Attorney General Letitia James regarding potential mortgage fraud violations.According to Fox News, the Federal Housing Finance Agency (FHFA) has forwarded a criminal referral to the Department of Justice, accusing James of falsifying mortgage applications and misrepresenting property details to secure more favorable loan terms.
The criminal referral, sent by FHFA Director William Pulte to Attorney General Pam Bondi on Tuesday, outlines several concerning irregularities in James' mortgage applications.
The allegations include claiming a Virginia property as her primary residence while simultaneously maintaining her New York residency status as a state official, and incorrectly listing a New York property as having four units instead of five giving her a tax break of residential vs. commercial.
And what about listing her father as her husband (she's never been married) to get a favorable mortgage loan.

Letitia James says NY state law overrides Trump's Executive Order
N.Y. AG Tells Hospitals to Continue Trans Care After Trump's Order
New York Attorney General Letitia James on Monday told hospitals that they would be violating state law if they stop offering gender transition care for people under age 19 in response to an executive order from President Donald Trump aimed at curtailing federal funding for such treatments. In a letter, James, a Democrat, told health care facilities that refusing to provide the treatments would violate New York's anti-discrimination laws.
"Regardless of the availability of federal funding, we write to further remind you of your obligations to comply with New York State laws," her letter reads.
Trump last week signed an executive order that directed agencies to take steps to make sure that hospitals receiving federal research and education grants “end the chemical and surgical mutilation of children.” The language in the order was tough — using words such as “maiming,” “sterilizing” and “mutilation.”

An executive order is a directive from the President that has much of the same power as a federal law. While an executive order can have the same effect as a federal law under certain circumstances, Congress can pass a new law to override an executive order, subject to a presidential veto.

Half billion civil fraud judgment against Trump is falling apart
Letitia James just stomped out of court
She was fuming in anger after judges picked apart her case
The lawfare against Donald Trump is taking such a dramatic turn as Democrats are showing desperation to save face.New York Attorney General Letitia James built her campaign for her position on the promise that she would focus solely on going after Donald Trump.
And James did follow through on that promise when she teamed up with fellow Democrat, Judge Arthur Engoron, to bill Trump $464 million in a civil fraud case where no crime, financial loss, or victim was identified.
Legal experts across the country, from a wide variety of political standpoints, saw the lawsuit as being nothing more than a politically motivated abuse of power.
No Attorney General has invoked such a law to target someone in the way that James had done with former President Donald Trump.
But sustaining the judgment was not the intended goal – forcing Trump to endure the process, plus all of the bad press was the true punishment for Trump.
James knew that if she could score the original victory, it would give a green light to the Democrats and their fake news media allies to paint Trump off publicly as a con man during the crucial, upcoming election.

Andrew Cuomo Torches Biden, Defends Trump
"Andrew Cuomo appeared on “Real Time with Bill Maher” alongside anti-Trump, former Republican congressman Adam Kinzinger on Friday, where he didn’t hold back on criticizing President Biden and the Democrat Party while defending former President Donald Trump."I can't imagine why anyone would be on the same show as crying Adam Kinzinger unless, of course, you are the anti-Trumper, Liz Cheney and the rest of the "un"-Select Committee.
"The former New York Governor (D) was open and honest about his thoughts on the open border and Trump’s hush money trial, among other topics.
Cuomo also defended Trump when asked about the New York hush money trial, including his thoughts on the civil fraud trial brought by Attorney General Letitia James, as well:
“That case, the attorney general’s case in New York, frankly, should have never been brought. If his name was not Donald Trump and if he wasn’t running for president. I’m the former AG in New York. I’m telling you, that case would have never been brought. And that’s what is offensive to people.
