Michael Cohen said he was pressured to testify against Trump

Cohen Accuses James, Bragg of Pressuring Testimony Against Trump

Michael Cohen, once a legal confidant to Donald Trump, has made serious allegations against New York Attorney General Letitia James and Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg for pressuring him to testify against the president in high-profile legal battles.

This claim, published on Jan. 16, 2026, adds a new layer to ongoing cases. It demands immediate attention.

On Friday, Cohen used a Substack post to accuse James and Bragg of coercing him to provide testimony aimed at securing convictions and judgments against President Donald Trump, the current president of the United States, in civil fraud and "hush money" cases, while Trump seeks to overturn a conviction and a $454 million fraud judgment. His words have stirred significant interest.

Representatives for James and Bragg have not yet responded.

Supporters contend that Cohen’s revelations point to a troubling pattern of politically driven prosecutions targeting President Trump. These accusations, if substantiated, could cast doubt on the integrity of New York’s legal actions. The issue has sparked intense debate over fairness in justice.

President Trump reacted swiftly on Truth Social, denouncing the New York cases as fundamentally flawed. “SET UP from the beginning,” he declared, framing the legal battles as an orchestrated effort against him.

Former Law Breaker says James Comey probably committed a crime

Michael Cohen claims James Comey likely broke law

Former Trump attorney Michael Cohen of Stormy Daniels fame has publicly accused former FBI Director James Comey of likely criminal conduct during a weekend television appearance.

Cohen made the allegations during Sunday's broadcast of MSNBC's "The Weekend," stating he believes Comey "committed a crime" without specifying the nature of the alleged offense.

The former Trump lawyer-turned-critic suggested the Department of Justice possesses extensive documentation that could support criminal charges, according to Breitbart reporting.

Cohen emphasized that the DOJ likely has access to comprehensive communications records, including emails and text messages. He expressed confidence that Comey would eventually face legal consequences based on the government's possession of what he described as "hundreds of thousands of documents."

Michael Cohen, the Fixer

Ex-Trump “fixer” Michael Cohen vindicated Trump with broadcast of Epstein bombshell

Author Michael Wolff sat down with Michael Cohen for an explosive interview that’s sending shockwaves through political circles across Washington, D.C.

The conversation revealed what may be the most significant detail yet about the relationship between Donald Trump and convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein – and it’s not what Trump’s critics were hoping to hear.

According to Wolff, who has previously stated he conducted extensive recorded interviews with Epstein before his death, the disgraced financier Michael Cohen believed it was Trump himself who first reported Epstein’s criminal activities to Palm Beach police in 2004.

Cohen: ‘Greatest Liar of All Time‘

Final act of the Donald Trump Hoax trial

The prosecution and defense spent all day Tuesday wrapping up their arguments with the prosecution really dragging it out.

Trump’s team decided to focus their closing argument on Michael Cohen.

They wanted to remind the jury that he isn’t trustworthy. Todd Blanche, Trump’s attorney, was basically saying, ‘If you can’t believe Cohen, you can’t believe the whole story.’

We’ll have to wait and see if the jury buys it.

Or have they already been bought?

Michael Cohen, a man driven by vengeance and greed

Michael Cohen Makes Shocking Admission in Trump Trial

In a startling turn of events, Michael Cohen, the former personal attorney to Donald Trump, has made a staggering admission during his testimony in the hush money case against the former president.

The case, which revolves around payments made to adult film star Stormy Daniels, took a dramatic twist as Cohen confessed to “stealing” money from Trump via fraudulent reimbursement claims.

During cross-examination by defense attorney Todd Blanche, Cohen was confronted with financial records detailing transactions between himself and Alan Weisselberg, the former CFO of the Trump Organization. Blanche meticulously laid out evidence showing that Cohen manipulated reimbursement processes to pocket additional funds.

In one particularly damning revelation, Cohen admitted to receiving $50,000 for a tech company payment, but only paying $20,000 to the actual vendor. The remaining $30,000 was siphoned off by Cohen, who sheepishly acknowledged his actions under intense questioning.

Corrupt Prosecutors pressured Cohen

Prosecutors Threatened Michael Cohen’s Family to Get Him to Flip on Trump

Michael Cohen testified under oath that prosecutors THREATENED him to get him to flip on Trump, taking aim at both him and his family.

During the Trump “hush money” trial in New York, Cohen, the former Trump attorney, revealed that he was pressured by desperate prosecutors who were willing to stoop to new lows to “get Trump.”

In 2018, Cohen plead guilty to federal tax evasion and making false statements to a financial institution regarding a HELOC loan. At the time he claimed that he pled guilty without any outside pressure but now, Cohen admits that prosecutors gave him an ultimatum to coerce him into making the plea.

The attorney revealed that he was under an IMMENSE amount of external pressure with prosecutors in the Southern District of New York telling him that if he didn’t plea guilty AND “flip” on Trump – they would INDICT HIS WIFE.

And it worked.

“I elected to protect my family,” Cohen said.

Cohen's Credibility--does he have any?

'Crying little sh**': Michael Cohen spars with Trump attorney in fiery exchange

'At that time, I was knee deep into the cult of Donald Trump'

Trump's attorney Todd Blanche asked Cohen whether he had gone on TikTok and called him a “crying little sh*t” after the trial had started. “Sounds like something I would say,” Cohen replied.

The response was standard whenever Blanche brought up Cohen’s past statements, such as calling Trump a “boorish, cartoon misogynist” on the first episode of his podcast.

Blanche likewise pointed out Cohen’s desire for Trump to be convicted — a desire Cohen has repeatedly vocalized. The jury at one point saw a t-shirt from Cohen’s podcast store showing Trump in an orange jumpsuit behind bars, which Blanche noted he wore on his TikTok live stream just last week.

Judge Juan Merchan on Friday instructed prosecutors to tell Cohen to stop speaking publicly about Trump and the case. Is that a joke?

Phone records deleted by Michael Cohen

DA Alvin Bragg's paralegal admits some phone records submitted to evidence were deleted

Manhattan DA Alvin Bragg's "hush money" case against former President Donald Trump seems to have taken several steps back in recent weeks.

That was evidenced once again during the ongoing trial when one of Bragg's paralegals admitted on the stand that several key phone records had been deleted.

The phone records in question, according to The Epoch Times, were those regarding conversations between Stormy Daniels and former Trump lawyer Michael Cohen.

Trump's lawyers pointed out that the records had belonged to a set of evidence that was submitted to the court, but the fact that several records had been deleted was not disclosed to Trump's legal team.

DA Alvin Bragg's key witness -- The Fixer

Key Witness Against Trump A ‘Jerk,’ Would Often Go ‘Rogue,’ Possibly Suicidal

What does it say about the current fraudulent prosecution of former President Donald Trump, that the state's key witness was a universally hated, serial exaggerator, who would often go rogue and may have been suicidal? It should say a lot.

And that describes Michael Cohen, Trump's ex-attorney-turned-Trump nemesis who will soon be testifying against Trump in a court in New York City.

Lawyers for the former president argue that Cohen had acted on his own behalf to make the payments to the porn actress “Stormy Daniels” to cover up Trump's alleged affair before the 2016 election. They add that Cohen tried to distance Trump from him.

The Daily Caller reported: “A witness in the trial of former President Donald Trump testified Thursday that he thought former Trump attorney Michael Cohen was going to “kill himself” over missing out on a spot in the Trump administration.” It noted:
…“‘Jesus Christ, can you fucking believe I'm not going to Washington, after everything I have done for that fucking guy, I can't believe I'm not going to Washington,'” Davidson recalled Cohen as saying. “‘I've saved that guy's ass so many times, you don't even know.'”
Cohen, who reported to prison in May 2019, was released to home confinement after about a year as authorities released low-security-risk inmates during a coronavirus outbreak in federal prisons.

In 2018, Cohen pleaded guilty to eight criminal charges: five counts of tax evasion; one count of making false statements to a financial institution; one count of willfully causing an unlawful corporate contribution in breach of the Federal Election Campaign Act (FECA) of 1971.

The Stormy Hush Money Scheme

Whistleblower Claims Michael Avenatti Reportedly Revealed Michael Cohen Was Having Affair With Stormy Daniels Since 2006—Cooked Up Hush Money Scheme To Extort Money From Trump Before 2016 Election

Tony Seruga is a very popular commentator on Twitter. In his profile, the conservative commentator with over 77K followers, Mr. Seruga, states that he’s an Intel Ops CIA/NSA Contractor/Whistleblower.

Tony Seruga claims he used to share office space with the convicted felon and former attorney, Michael Avenatti, who represented porn star Stormy Daniels in her case alleging that then-presidential candidate Donald J. Trump paid her hush money to keep their alleged “affair” out of the public.

Remember him? The Alt-Left Democrat gals on The View wanted him to fun for President. LOL.

Seruga’s tweet begins: “I spoke with Michael Avenatti, who at one time had an office in the same building as one of my businesses in Newport Beach, CA (in November 2018, a few days after his arrest on suspicion of domestic violence, Avenatti’s law firm was evicted from those same offices in Newport Beach after skipping $213,000 worth of rent payments).”

“The whole hush money scheme was cooked up by Michael Cohen to extort the Trump Organization before the 2016 election. Avenatti seemed pleased at how deviant Michael Cohen was.”

Stormy has new documentary on Peacock March 18

Stormy Daniels documentary mocks Trump enemy Michael Avenatti

Stormy Daniels' new documentary, Stormy reveals the adult entertainer's discomfort with the publicity following her allegations of an affair with Donald Trump, along with criticism of her former lawyer, Michael Avenatti, who helped her in the legal battles against the former president.

In the revealing production set to premiere on Peacock, Daniels discusses the challenges and media scrutiny she faced after her claims of an affair with Trump became public.

The documentary does not shy away from discussing Daniels's relationship with Avenatti, once a key figure in her legal team against Trump.

Avenatti, who is currently serving a 14-year prison sentence for financial crimes, is depicted unfavorably, with Daniels accusing him of betrayal and suggesting he forged her signature.

Daniels' interactions with Avenatti in the documentary include moments of mockery, reflecting her disillusionment and betrayal by someone she once trusted in her fight against Trump.

Despite her efforts, Daniels lost the lawsuit and was ordered to pay Trump's legal fees, a significant setback in her legal confrontations with the former president.

Trump Sues Michael Cohen

Trump Sues Michael Cohen for $500 Million

I have to laugh at the absurdity of this

To even think this creep could pay $500M...

Former US President Donald Trump has filed a $500 million lawsuit against his former lawyer Michael Cohen. According to a source familiar with Trump’s legal team, the lawsuit against Cohen is unrelated to the Manhattan DA’s case.

Trump is seeking damages from Michael Cohen in a trial for compensatory, incidental, actual, and punitive losses for a breach of client-attorney privilege and unjust enrichment.

The lawsuit states, “This is an action arising from [Cohen’s] multiple breaches of fiduciary duty, unjust enrichment, conversion and breaches of contract by virtue of [Cohen’s] past service as [Trump’s] employee and attorney.”

Costello testimony should sink Bragg's case

unless, of course, Bragg wants to be ridiculed forever

Robert Costello--latest developments in the probe into former President Donald Trump

Robert Costello testified before a grand jury on Monday. He spoke with the media outside of the courtroom.

The Trump indictment is not a done deal yet, as there was one more witness they had to hear from on Monday – Robert Costello. Costello is the former legal adviser for Michael Cohen. Cohen is one of the two key witnesses in the case, along with Stormy Daniels. Both have serious credibility issues.

Costello’s testimony further decimated any case that the Manhattan DA Alvin Bragg may have thought he ever had.

Costello ripped Cohen as a liar.
“There can be no doubt in anyone’s mind that Michael Cohen has great difficulty telling the truth,” Costello said. “He is, after all a convicted perjurer, and our track record with Mr. Cohen convinced us that he was a serial liar.”

The Left will do anything to hurt Trump

This insane left-wing theory about Merrick Garland’s Mar-A-Lago raid will make you sick to your stomach

The Biden administration has been weaponized in unconscionable ways.

Anyone who stands in the way of the regime is now a target for destruction.

Using federal law enforcement to punish the former President is a third-world, banana republic tactic, but Joe Biden’s Department of Justice deploys it with a smile.

The Left are so desperate to take down Trump, they’ve concocted a conspiracy theory that Ivanka turned on her own father for some inane reason.

I believe that disbarred lawyer and convicted felon Michael Cohen, who served as an attorney for Trump, might have started the rumor. Anti-Trumper "Cohen pleaded guilty to eight criminal[173] charges: five counts of tax evasion, one count of making false statements to a financial institution, one count of willfully causing an unlawful corporate contribution, and one count of making an excessive campaign contribution" [wikipedia].

The Liar

Liars can say anything

"Soon to serve a prison sentence for, among other things, lying to Congress, Michael Cohen took a parting shot Wednesday at his old boss, President Donald Trump, in testimony on Capitol Hill." [Daily Signal]

Quizzed by the House Oversight Committee he said, “He’s (Trump) a racist, he’s a con man, and he’s a cheat.” Democrats cheered.

Lawyers are obligated to maintain the confidence and secrets of their clients. What happened to this sleazy guy? He got 3 years for lying to Congress regarding multiple counts of tax evasion on his personal finances and arranging illicit payments to silence women.

Robert Mueller is trying to find anything that will stick in order to fulfill his goal of proving Russian collusion against our President.

The Fixer

The Fixer and Choir Boy and the Democrats

Now, after his sleazy testimony yesterday, Mark Meadows has filed a criminal referral against Cohen for “illegally lobbying on behalf of foreign entities without registering.” [powdered Wig]

And it wasn't just his testimony, it was the repulsive comments/questions from Democrats and holding this inquisition on the eve of the Summit in Vietnam. Democrats gleefully want our President and our country to fail--in every respect--now it's nuclear weapons. What a despicable group.
